if the info is confirmed we'll have two legendaries for class. one "normal" and one "quest" Also thre will be less neutral legs ( around 5, not confirmed)
Uffffffff. That a lot of dust if you follow 2 or 3 classes or if you wanto to do a deck. Will this make the expansion a more expensive one? And will this be te final nail in f2p viable counts ?
In normal Blizzard style, each class will have max 1 viable legendary so don't worry about it. Quest legendaries will probably be too slow and anyclass legendary that costs more than 4 or doesn't have an immediate impact will be garbage.
I just hope no filler legendary in this expansion.
I use in games gold buy 70 pack in Msg. Get all the filler legendary and epic. Need dust all to craft the key legendary. Aya, kazakus, patch etc. Really waste of dust. Now, I have zero dust for next expansion.
why Rip f2p? is not like you need all the quest cards and all the legendary minions, just look at Pyros, i he's a decent card but he's nowhere near a must have.
That's what I'm going to do. I'm not sure if I'll buy preorder packs, but I should have around 3k gold when Un'Goro hits, so I'm just gonna farm Arena as much as possible. If you can get a 4/3 run you're still gonna get a pack for less than 100 gold invested.

man, that's the forth wall you've put a hole through...
While this move can't be seen as F2P friendly I think it is better if expansions are more class-based (i.e. more class cards, less neutrals) because it both allows for more class diversity (with the option to give more support to fringe archetypes) and it makes it much easier to identify broken cards as well as making it less likely to have broken neutrals that half (or more) the classes in the game run. Overall this is more healthy for the game since the different matchups will feel more diverse. Still I hope they support F2P some more, because the game won't survive for long without a good number of F2P players. Having said that Blizzard seems to understand this to some extent and they are offering daily login rewards and who knows what else they have in store for us. I think that for now its best to wait and see on the F2P front, but the change should be good for the game if they focus more on diversifying the classes.
Extra Note: I know I am just assuming some stuff (e.g. extra class legendaries don't imply bigger class focus and we don't know for sure that there will be fewer neutral legendaries), but I would also like to remind people that while it is easy to judge Blizzard's actions from now it would be more fair to give them some time to show us everything first (e.g. how good are the daily login rewards).
I have no doubt this expansion will continue the tradition of crap/niche epics and legendaries. Both old gods and gadgetzan had only about 3-4 must craft legendaries that are simply irreplaceable (Fandral, Aya, Twin Emperor, Kazakus, etc.).
Think about it, let's say we get 3 viable legendaries and you open 3 crap ones, that means you must craft 3 legendaries. Now, if we have, let's say, 8 viable legendaries and you open at best 3 useful ones, you still have 5 legendaries to go.
With the current reward system I'm glad we don't get too many great legendaries. I would of course prefer to have more rewards and more viable cards but it is what it is.
Yes, this game has allot of RNG, but one thing that's going for it is that it's definitely NOT P2W. Good players have proven that you can reach legend and higher with completely f2p accounts and also in the most refined of decks, there'r really few legendaries, 98% of those decks are common and rares, and they're the most played and most powerful decks. So don't BS us with "the game is p2w" since it's been established many times that it's definitely not.

In MSoG, there were only 3 Legendaries that were must have/craft: Kazakus, Aya, and Patches. There were 4 others that were worth considering if you had the extra dust: Solia, Wickerflame, Shaku, and Finja.
In WotOG, there were only 4 must have/crafts: Fandral, Vek'lor, C'Thun, N'Zoth, and Yogg. There were 2 others that were worth considering if you had the extra dust: Malkorok, and Rag, Lightlord.
That is crazy reasonable.
So, in another 130 card expac, we can probably assume there will be 7 legendaries worth having - and only half of those will be "must haves." Go get the dust and stop complaining.
You're going to get a fair amount of dust for the outgoing cards. I don't count wild as anything but a pointless casual mode Blizz threw together as an excuse for ousting cards people paid for. Anyway ... use the dust to craft the legendaries for the classes you play most only. You don't have to have every new card ... wait until the meta settles and you actually know what is worth crafting beyond that

Spend money OR whine...you cant have both
wow . look like free to win player happy. come show off here. because they can play overpower deck to boost win rate vs f2p.(ie: extra 10% win rate vs f2p player)

F2P doesn't mean "should have every card."
14 must have legendary is must have unless you plan to lose in mirror match.
and if filler card exits. the more dust you need to spend to craft them. ie: get 5 trash legendary from 100 f2p pack.
Hearthstone has and will always have a F2P component to it, but just because you decide to play that way doesn't mean you deserve to get all the legendaries or even the ones you want.
If you don't like their business model why don't you go play a more affordable game like Magic the gathering?(sarcasm font)

Also only 5 neutral legendaries...
edit: Sorry didn't read the original post. Sorry.
If there gonna be only 5 netural legs, than there is no differnce from MSG.
But anyway we going to get some daily login rewards that will make things easier for f2p players

Just to provide some proof. Seems like this will balance it out.
Have some fun for once in your life!

Free to play and rank up will always be there. Investment in HS just gives you more "fun" as you can use any cards you want.
RIP F2P?
Or even more fillers then usual?
Hall of Fame (ignore list): aleathas, Baylith, cendol, DiamondDM13, Dominieq, doomr, glitterprincess, hamtarofr, Heck, Jwigg33, Kaladin, Krewger, Legend_Entomber, libertyprime, Maukiepaukie, PandarenHero, randjob, s2mikey, SchruteBucks, The_Giratina, TheWamts, ticandtac, tictactucroc, tsudecimo, WaffleMonstr
LOL, and where are you going to invest all your dust? It only serves to craft, you can't spend it in a different way.
I will crush you!

Jesus, guys!
1. Download HearthArena.
2. Farm gold pre-expansion.
???
Profit!
