So recently I've seen people complain about the announced nerfs and standard cards being rotated to wild. Isn't this what we've been asking for? It guarantees each rotation new archetypes emerge taking advantage of new cards.
Im also excited for the ladder change which hopefully will lead to less monotony on ladder.
All in all I think these are all positive strides and I hope blizzard continue the good work.
Freeing design space is useless if you don't capitalize on it. They used this very same reasoning when nerfing/destroying things like Blade Flurry so they could "free design space" into printing more and better Rogue weapons. Where are they? Nowhere.
Lessening and removing cards and deck archetypes from the game is only good if NEW good cards and deck archetypes come in replacement as well. If all decks we'll see are more Jade, more stupid brainless playstyles like Pirates and more filler cards like Greaser Worgen then the game will stay just as shitty, "freed" design space or not.

Surely we should wait till post rotation though before complaining?
Blizzard is doing the right things for quite some time now. Though, the problem is the pace of Blizzard's actions. They couldn't do things more slowly. That's the frustrating part. I mean, I really like the future changes, even though, these changes aren't aiming at aggressive decks. But, we'll still have to wait 'till April, which is about three months...
I have to agree with this. I think the announced changes from Blizzard are steps in the right direction. And hell, some of their more recent decisions I think have been positive as well, such as the card bans in Arena, the previous batch of nerfs (Yogg nerfs), and even how they handled NA reimbursement for the pack opening glitch. But they take their sweet time making these decisions, and while well-considered decisions are better than hasty ones, there comes a point where waiting too long makes a "good solution" lackluster.
The problem is by removing those combo decks and nerfing pirate decks and removing Sylvanas from N'Zoth decks, Jade decks will then dominate the ladder. Also Reno decks will be gone after Emperror, Reno rotate out, making Kazakus unplayable in most way. So yeh Jade army is going to dominate. Especially Shaman

Jade decks is fine to see on ladder, as long as the meta is slower. I'd rather see Jade decks than Aggro decks.
People were complaining that the game is too short with Aggro and too long with Reno/Control decks, now Blizz is doing something. Following that, the community gonna be complaining about Jade decks... like literally people always have something to complain about.
After the Aggro nerf, rotation, and the 6 cards moved to Hall of Fame, regardless the new cards, other faster Midrange decks will arise to punish Jade decks. Aggro decks will not be the only one to punish Jade decks.
Other than this, Blizzard takes a while to bring things into execution is because planning and announcement could take faster to reach the community, but they don't want to announce things too early and then it takes 1-2 months for execution. This game is a online digital cards game, not a physical cards game like MTG or Yugi-oh. What takes time is the computer programming and engineering aspects which become more frustrating and take longer to execute as the database of the cards are growing bigger every year.

That was I expansion ago, patience much? And your closing statement, all doomsayer and no substance, but you knew it.
I have been playing Wild for a month or so. My midrangeNZoth paladin deck crushed most jade druids who decided to play in wild for areason instead of standard. Problem is there are not enough midrange decks around. Only shaman totem/jade. Paladin midrange is dead after last year's rotation. Yes we got what we wanted with the pirate nerfs, but with all these cards that are important to control/combo decks moving up, Jade is what stays behind from all these decks, maybe this is the time for goons to shine up, since they were supposed to be the ones to beat jades.
I didn't mind games being too long with control decks. Yes I know with pirate warrior everything is faster, your opponent used Reno Jackson on t6? Concede after 5 mins of game. Lethal on t4? Good job 4 minute game. While control vs control is about 15 min, but at least it's enjoyable. I enjoy my Kazakus at his full potential and seeing various combos. That's much more enjoyable for most players imo.
Blizzard is rushing to treat symptoms as they arise, but they fail to address the root problems, and continue to feed those roots with their new content releases.
they must bring balance to the classic basic set, and needs alone will not achieve that.
priest, warlock, paladin, and shaman should not be 100% reliant on getting OP cards printed in every expansion just to keep up with the rest.
Mage, hunter, druid and rogue shouldn't be shafted almost every expansion because their classic/basic "limits design space".
add new basic cards, level the playing field, and then design space for expansions will be freer than ever.

Just cause they didn't make use of it immediately doesn't mean its not a problem. Can you imagine blade flurry and deadly poison combo in rogue in standard? it would literally shit on aggro, which is what keeps rogue in check for the most part.

How would that shit on aggro? Nowadays games end by turn4.
Its probably that you dont hear much from people who are happy or content with the changes and its only a loud minority right now
FWIW - Zeriyah's post on the subreddit has almost 12K up-votes. It's the most positive response I can remember from this community since the game launched three years ago.

Again, why ignore historical evidence? Karazhan was a disaster, Gadgetzan failed to do anything but push aggro to the extreme and kill lategame attrition Control with Jade. If history is anything to go by the next expansions aren't gonna magically be awesome just because 6 cards disappeared from standard.
I think Blizzard making more money with Expensions than Adventures. When Blizzard create an Adventure, you just pay a little money to buy it and get all new cards. But when a new expension came, if you try to open packs with money you earn in-game it will be really hard. You have to pay much more than the Adventure price to collect good cards. Also there isn't any guarantee with pack openings. You may just get 1 Legendary after 40 pack open.

People don't know what they want. They complain about shit until it is changed and than complain it got changed, you can't everyone happy
I agree with you entirely, my guess is that there are a lot of people who are getting salty about loosing their precious rag(as we all are)
Golden legendary cards opened: Ragnaros the Firelord, Auctionmaster Beardo, Kalimos, Primal Lord

I don't mind the changes, personally. I'm hoping Un'Goro expansion is gonna be full of fun cards cause it was one of my favorite questing zones.
