Are all the Aggro players lurking behind all these salty, angry threads going on or are there not even as many as we make them out to be? These people keep talking about how every game is against an aggro deck and they cant do anything about because they are playing something else not aggro. I don't see anyone defending the aggro players and so I am beginning to think everyone is delusional and can't find anything else to put the blame on.
I'd go with the delusional thing... that anti aggro mob here really annoys me.
Anyway, I play aggro sometimes. Even aggro Shaman because it's quite fun to destroy opponents. Even better you get more friend requests after thrashing them and I like having friends!
Just plenty of salty people I suppose. I play Aggro, Midrange, Control, or Combo depending on which I find more interesting at that point in time. I have no decks that I hate as I find that all (even Aggro) can take some decision making to play at a high level. Although I love combo decks the most. Winning can be really be fun with them although I can imagine it is not very fun for your opponent.
Well it's really mostly slow control deck players that are the big babies. Mid rangers, or combo decks they don't complain. Aggro players don't complain. It's all control players and likely usually the really slow ones that load their decks with late game cards and think having nothing to play for the first few turns should be fine.
Aggro, mid range, combo players are all mature, intelligent and respectful. They don't throw giant tantrums, create tons of duplicate threads about stuff that should be in the salt thread, they don't create the million and one Card x is OP, Nerf! Control players are the majority of these prejudiced, hateful, and ultimately fragile individuals.

HAHAHAHAAHAHA.Nice one.You generalized an entire portion the playerbase.Let me tell you something my special aggro snowflake. Not only control players but gamers in general are whiny assholes.Aggro players don't spamm in the forums as much as control or other type of players simply because since naxx aggresive decks are mostly favoured. When patron warrior dominated the ladder,EVERYONE bitched about it.Also players that main aggro might not spamm in forums but they are as douchebags and sore lossers as control players(spamm and adding to flame).
Gamers in general are neither mature nor intelligent or respectful and by judging your ''i am so smart, you plebs suck'' attitude in every comment of yours i happen to see , neither are you.
I play some aggro, I've played hunter quite a bit, my main is shaman, but I'm currently enjoying renomage.
All archetypes are fun, I try to ignore the "aggro is dumb" crap. Perhaps it does take less "skill" to pilot an aggro deck, but the skill cap in hearthstone is so low there isn't much difference. Aggro is part of a balanced meta.
Aggro players = f2p scum of the earth who fail at even the most basic thing, like positioning minions or trading correctly, yet still win versus better players because their class/archetype is/was/always will be broken af. Aggro shaman has a 55% or more overall winrate, 55 percent winrate, that's absurd considering how many plebs play the deck. Inb4 aggro pleblords and apologists like that dragon guy get mad. LUL
Here's my take. Players who play aggro usually don't exclusively play aggro. Since they play multiple archetypes, they don't have the reason to whine about certain decks. "Control players" usually exclusively play control, perceiving it to be "more skilled", and when they lose, this Idra-like mentality promotes them to whine on the forums.

People who refuses to play aggro out of principle are even worse than people who play exclusively aggro.
One should seek to become a complete player and play all archetypes, including ones that he despises for whatever irrational reasons.
My take on it is that the wounds are still sore. Because let’s face it: once upon a time, aggro was just stupidly overpowered.
IMHO it’s reached the perfectly balance (requires more skill now, far less guaranteed), but I think the players who remain salty are players who started around GvG and still get PTSD from Dr. Boom ‘s cackle or “I FEEL ICKY”

When commenting on a generalisation, it's usually best to not generalise yourself. Pot, kettle, et cetera.

That is highly ironic coming from you.

Aaaaaaaaaaand you couldn't even go one post without making yourself look like a hypocrite.

This isn't true, in fact I'd say it's most likely the opposite. I think most aggro players play only aggro or some sort of aggressive midrange and the people with all the cards who can afford 12K dust decks are the ones also playing combo, midrange, fatigue, mill etc. You can't have control players only playing control and aggro players playing both aggro and control but still have aggro be 70% of ladder, it would have to be more control.
People is complaining a bit too much about aggro - it's mostly in the lower rank that aggro actually is good, when you get into higher ranks it becomes kinda bad because everyone is playing decks that beat aggro there...
- Also i play all decks (aggro, control, combo, midrange, even mill) does this qualify me as an ''aggro player''? ^^

Well, this thread proves you are totally wrong, there are always people defending aggro players (which is crazy, I know). You should try to pay more attention next time, that is all.
If you look at the Vicious Syndicate data for Aggro Shaman you'll see that it has a positive win rate against every deck in the meta besides Control Warrior and Dragon Warrior. And guess what? Control Warrior only has a 47% win rate against it, just barely better than 50%. The truth is that Shaman is just way better than any deck ever should be atm, and it just happens to be aggro. The problem is worsened by the fact that the only deck that seems to truly counter it, Dragon Warrior, is also pretty aggressive. There have been times where Patron Warrior has had similar win rates as a combo deck, and then people were complaining about that. It's a problem for ladder because lots of people will just play the highest win rate deck to climb, but it's a much bigger problem for competitive where you can't actually build a lineup to beat aggro shaman because there just aren't enough decks that can beat it. Maybe there are some secret decks that will come out of the woodwork with the new adventure, but for now Aggro Shaman is basically an uncounterable deck. I actually have hope though, I think that when Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem, and Tuskar Totemic rotate next year we will have a chance at a really balanced meta assuming blizzard doesn't print a bunch of new, strong early game for Shamans, which I doubt they will. Losing it's early game shaman will essentially become a class that is defined by a strong mid game and strong burst, but without the best early game, restoring balance to the universe.

Aggro player needs no defense, defense? Why? When you can just smorc.

Team 5 should put out a brawl where each player is immune until they hit 7 mana. Would be interesting to see how people like it.
Edit: You'd have to exempt voluntary damage, I guess (Warlock hero power, weapon hits, Flame Imp Battlecry), to make this viable.
His statement holds true though.
