[I know this is kind of old news, but I recently was going through Kripparian's old videos and saw the fatigue Druid list and thought it was sweet, so I made a version of it with the cards I had on hand with a bit of crafting, then I saw that the interaction had changed.
Before, you could use Poison Seeds to destroy all minions and replace them with 2/2s, then kill them off with the Explosive Sheep's deathrattle. Now, the deathrattle goes off before the board is filled with 2/2s. I think that it should be the way it was before, because Sabotage can't take out Tirion Fordring and his Ashbringer (Fordring's deathrattle doesn't take place in the middle of the spell's resolution), so why would the sheep's deathrattle take place in the middle of the resolution of Poison Seeds?
The change was also a nerf to a really cool niche deck that wasn't overpowered at all, and reduced overall diversity in the meta. Fatigue Druid isn't really a viable strategy on the higher rungs of the ladder, but it is still really cool to play down low (or at least that was my experience). Any input as to why the combo doesn't work currently and if you think it should be in the game is appreciated!
The issue is that they were re-patching the interaction.
It had 'always' worked as it does currently, and when they did a previous patched it changed. Now it was fixed back.
I really like the way it was changed too, and it seems pretty niche to really change it, but seeing the actual nerfs clearly they want to knock druids down a peg....
