Im just at my wits end trying to make these classes work whenever I happen to roll a quest for these classes. I cannot string together 3 or 5 wins unless I play 50 games. Its pitiful. wild or not i dont seem to have the cards to stick to one archetype consistently .I didnt update all neutrals because its too tedious but i did update all class cards. please help
I'll can give you some of my tips that I do for myself everyday playing this game.
When I first started playing Hearthstone, I'd mainly only play mage. Back then it was mech mage and it was damn good. But now it not so good and not worth crafting. That being said the deck I would play if I were you is Tempo Burn Mage. The deck is not expensive and is very good in the low rank ladder. Just focus and craft this deck and nothing else.
But honestly being this late in the expansion, just pre-order the witchwood expansion and focus on a mage deck with those card. Pre-order everything, buy all but only what's on specials. Don't bother buying like 7 packs or 40 packs on top of the pre-order, you won't need to spend any more money on this game than that. And it's cheap coming from someone who use to buy boxes of MTG sets when they came out back in the day this pales in comparison for expense.
Make a Mage deck and level it to 50, max it out and then move on to hunter, Once you're done with playing mage, try playing a face hunter deck. It's again cheap and effective in the low ranks. Don't worry with the druid, rogues, and warlock classes. I deem those advance classes and should only be played when you have a sufficient collection being that all the good cards in druid are epics so it's the hardest of all the classes to put an efficient deck together.
Now, when you're actually at the grinding part where you're feeling the most frustration. Now I am just a card collector, so I do not grind ladder, I can't afford packs but I want a card collection that is bad ass and I can just flip thru. So to do this, when you start at rank 25, win 2 games and concede the third. This will break the winning streak chain which is your worst enemy and bane to gold grinding as you find yourself quickly swimming in the deep end with the sharks with no coming back.
Tip #1: Win 2 games, concede the third- repeat
Now you can't lose stars at 25 to 20 so you're eventually going to play harder people. You can for a bit play casual if you like but to me I find it to be a haven for legend rank players so they don't lose their rating. I find and call casual Legend Rank 2.0 so avoid if after you start to feel frustrated.
Tip #2: Don't pass rank 15
My comfort zone is rank 17, I love this rank and I will just float there. I find the balance between tier 1 decks and tier 5 are more consistent. You will play against people with tier 1 decks, but you'll at least find more people with tier 5 or beginners level players at that rank which will help achieve gold cap for the day. It takes approximately for me 6 hours to 8 to complete 30 wins in a day, It's a grind and more painful if you're just starting out but with hard work, but with hard work you can bring out the big guns.
So yeah, If I were you, I'd just float around rank 20-17. If you go on a winning streak and you find yourself at rank 16. Concede 5 games in a row, drop your Matchmaking Record. Don't cross to rank 15 because once you're there, it's like a black hole, no coming back for the rest of the month. And now you're swimming with the sharks where every game is a tier 1 tier 2 match up and your daily win rate will be hell.
Tip #3 - Play RNG Tavern Brawls when they're out
Last week's tavern brawl was unfortunately a bust for new players but it usually rotates every week to constructed to random brawl (most of the times). RNG brawls are frustrating to players with a large collection as we can win games faster on ladder than an RNG fiesta. But when you don't have a large collection, this is the spot to grind out your daily gold cap. However, do get yourself a desktop punching bag. Some games will be surreal to you and sometimes I wonder myself if there is a 3rd party hack that lets them have any card they want at any giving time. That is the pain of RNG tavern brawl, but much less painful then going up against tier 1 decks game after game.
Tip #4 - Order of Playing Characters until Max - So you can gather more cards from each set.
Jaina - Tempo Burn Mage
Rexxar - Try Midrange Hunter
Paladin - Dude Paladin
Then Level Up
Warlock - Play Zoo, cheapest and best of the options
Shaman - Aggro or Evolve if possible
Warrior - Try and collect for pirate warrior, it's past its prime but still a force to be reckoned with. And it's cheap to craft
And lastly level up the remaining 3 classes
Rogue - Just get Preparations, they are a must for rogue
Druid - Just play Jade Druid, it's good against aggro
Priest - As your last class to level - I like the combo dragon priest. inner fire and divine spirit are going to be bad ass cards with the power creep of each expansion released.
Tip #5 - My Top Legendary Picks
Craft Lerroy Jenkins, this guy is an all star. No other legendary has earned me more gold than this guy. You can slap him in any deck and even tempo mage as a 3rd fireball but I prefer the iceblock/pryoblast finisher.
Now with Tempo Mage being my first deck to level up, focus on getting Aluneth. That legendary weapon is bonkers for tempo mage and has won me many games.
Just get those 2 legendaries for now and the other will fall into place.
Hope this help, It's my day to day play by play to work on my collection. It's all up to what you want to do really, you could grind the ladder and hope to get the golden epic at the end of the month. However, if you open a pack everyday within that month, you'll crack a golden epic anyway so it doesn't really matter. All comes down to how many wins you want to achieve within a day. But if you're a card collector like me.,I'd follow this guide.
I'm not the person to ask as I'm not particularly good, but what decks are you playing? People are always sneaking wins with pirate warrior and the games are really short. Also, you can usually sneak a win with shaman and bloodlust.

If you do have a nice size collection, just play murloc paladin. The deck is bonkers, but you need 2 spellbreakers though, meta is so silence heavy. Like playing wow and you need to stack up on resistance gear. DPS is low, but it gets the job done.

tried elemental shaman and warrior with yip
Well I played evolve shaman before K&C and that deck still holds up somewhat, at least for quests, wouldn't ladder with it. It's super easy to pilot. Jade shaman works too, with murmuring elemental to increase the number of jades and healing rain to keep your life up. Obviously neither will be viable after rotation.
Yip doesn't really have a deck, although I play a recruit warrior with him for fun in casual and some days it crushes an opponent if they get a slow start. Mostly it tanks and they just kill you in the first six turns. It needs tons of legendaries, so not worth crafting. Pirate warrior is fairly cheap if you've got most of the cards and will get you some cheesy wins in casual.
This is the Jade deck I took as a template, you don't have to have Aya or Grumble, could probably sub in brewmasters, more control, thing from below, etc.
I see your pain though, looked at your collection and you're missing some of the key shaman stuff, it's like you're short on the evolve, Jade and even overload deck type cards. You don't have the spellstone to play that meme overload deck even. Maybe it's worth just waiting for the new expansion as most of shaman's key cards are rotating now. If you're gonna play wild I would think you would consider getting the evolve package though.
Looked into your collection a bit. Firstly, Warrior and Shaman are currently the two worst classes in the game. This obviously makes your questing a bit harder. The only two "competitive" Warrior decks at the moment, are Dead Man's Hand warrior (Linked here) and wild Pirate Warrior (Linked here). As for Shaman, there's Evolve Shaman (Linked here) and wild Aggro Shaman (Linked here). I only looked at your warrior cards, and I noticed you're missing quite a few cards when it comes to both of those decks. I didn't look into your shaman collection, as I didn't have a ton of time. Your best bet for completing these quests is to concede casuals over and over to drop your MMR (Match Making Rating). This will then place you against new players/bots where you should be able to grind the quests super easily. Hope this helps!
You should be able to get some easy casual Shaman wins with a token/bloodlust deck.
Edit: d'oh, didn't see you had a limited collection. It's gonna be a little bit tougher without Jade Claws [/card] and [card]Thing from Below.
I'd still recommend a low curve bloodlust finisher deck for Shaman, though. Looking at your collection, maybe try to go Murloc heavy, even.
like the old shaman with argent squire?
That's one option. Fire Fly and Dire Mole are also solid one-drops. Back those up with Flametongue Totem and Dire Wolf Alpha for favorable trades, and then some 3-cost taunts to protect your smaller minions (can't go wrong with Tar Creeper). You won't have a resilient board, really, but if you can chip away and constantly push 5-6 minions on board, Bloodlust will carry you to some wins.

I assume you don't have the collection needed to play in Wild, where it's not nearly as hard to scrape together some wins with those classes.
If that's the case, my honest advice is to throw back those quests unless the Tavern Brawl of the week is a helpful one.
