but I'm not sure whether I should use Sylvanas (the card currently in the deck's card list) or replace it with Emperor Thaurissan. I think the priest deck already has good stealing and removals so maybe I should? Or should I not? I'm not an experienced player so if anyone can offer advice on this subject it would be very appreciated. Thanks.
Iv tried Emperror in ctrl priest for a while, but honestly it never did anything for me, the discounts were rly non important and he got cleared and that was it. Sylvanas is way better choise ;-)
Btw use Entomb instead of Mindcontrol at the very least ;-) And if u want a minion vs agro, drop MCT and use Wild Pyro or better yet, deathlords ;-)
ET is a combo enabler that doesn't do anything for you with respect to controlling the board. Although Sylvanis has the same cost and stats, she interacts with the board more and will advance your strategy as Control Priest. She is the right card.
I just bought all 3 adventures and I'm going to make the decks I always wanted. This Control Priest deck is the deck I wanted to make the most:

Your mana cost isnt all that expensive overall and, like other said, with no real game-ending combo, Emperor is of little value.

Thanks for the responses!
Now as far as wide spread utility, I feel like the emperor fits in a lot of nifty decks.
