Since I started the game long time ago I always used hearthpawn fir almost everything but these couple months I barley see activity like before even people and posts are low I used to see people cry about nerfs but now I don't:D also the legendary tier list doesn't contain alteric Valley did people move to another website or what
there are a couple alternative websites which i don’t think i can reference by name but just from going over their posts it seems like Hearthpwn may be outpacing them in terms of traffic. For example, 87 replies on a recent post about Duels is pretty good considering how unpopular the mode is to begin with. To me it seems like the aftermath of United in Stormwind sucked the life out of the community. A lot of people and popular streamers legitimately quit the game in response to the state of the meta and it doesn’t seem like the new set has done enough to reverse the damage. And don’t even get me started on Mercenaries…
Site has been slowly dying since the whole Curse-ownership-exodus of the devs debacle. And people complain so much about the meta now but honestly it's fine. We had way way worse times. Times where balance patches were not expected, but a rare "maybe once a year miracle". Anyone remember shamanstone? Or Jades? Now it's not balanced by far but you can play almost all classes and do fine up until diamond rank. Which for 90% of the playerbase it's all they'll do anyway. Legend grind was always only the top% fighting with each other.
It feels bad hearthstone is the only game I play now hope blizzard wake up and stop destroying the game , I can't believe I will say this I even miss posts about complains for Mage Paladin...etc :D
Heartpwn became part of the Jezz Befos (twitch) hyper conglomerate, and the main guy who did any work for this website is now working on other website (outofcards), where he is way more active.
Also, a lot of people stopped playing the game lately.
Games life through teens, teens talk on reddit and similar stuff nowadays, they dont care for answers most of the time, they just wanna babble their heart off.
I guess the avarage Forum user is about 30+ years old, has a wife, a family, kids, a important work, or any of those...
Forums lost massivly in popularity since there are more effective ways to drop your nonsence to a Big audiance

There's a disease that ruined topical forums everywhere called Reddit. Glad you seem to be immune.

This seems about right. All of Blizzard is in the Tankard right now. Hearthpwn is just one of many 3rd party victims of a sobering community.
Game sucks right now.
blizzard sucks too.
people are leaving in droves. those who stay play on mobile sitting on the toilet during a lunch break.
I can’t imagine taking this game seriously anymore. It’s like going to a casino and putting your $$ in a slot machine with zero chance to win it back.
so Hpwn and all the sites are taking a hit.
The loss of Innkeeper had part to play in it -- without the collection tracking to know what decks you can build was a huge hit to the site.
What happened? Well...

The truth is, this is a Forum.
