I googled it. It means Space Marine Orc or something. It pulls up a growling orc face in twitch. So, I understand what it IS. I just don't understand why/how people are using it to mean 'face'. At least I think they are using it to mean 'face' from context, maybe I'm mistaken.

Can anyone explain?
Space Marine Orcs from Warhammer 40k are as far as I know an army that likes to go in close combat. Smashing faces in. Since Rexxar was the first true facesmasher and he is an Orc, Hearthstone established the term "smorc" for going face.
Yep, just that zerg are personality-void insects without any spirit whatsoever, albeit their art is really cool (way better than the tyranid design...) WH40k Orks are incredibly complex for such a simplistic species, with funny and snarky personalities and even funnier technology and habilities.
I mean, the ork shaman can cast a freaking giant semi-transluscent green foot from above the sky onto its enemies xD

Orks loves DAKKA as much as they love SMASH, the FLASHIEZT their GITZ the BETTA their IMMA and their DAKKA! but yeah, even with all the firepower at their hand, they love and good ol' face smanin' and axein'.
And Rexxar is a Mok'nathal, a half-ogre half-orc (both orcs and ogres from draenor as beligerent and they were/are, had a tendency to rape the female of their invaded foes... Yes, warcraft was a lot grittier and imo "better" back in the ol' days pre-WoW).

Well, what you don't seem to understand is the complex eco-system, that warhammer 40k orcs represent. Unlike the warcraft orcs, 40k orcs are classified as "funghi". If they die, they leave behind spores, that will then grow into a wide varitey of things, like new orks, squits (basicly orc-animals - there are squit sharks, squit whales, bombsquits and so on). On the other hand, 40k orcs have no females.
So in order to reproduce and to spread, they need to die, hence the very low self preservation effort. SMOrcs are no mindless beasts, they are rather a living, evolving, spreading, beatiful eco system, that deserves more respect and more credit, then it gets at the moment by all this missjudging players, who just don't see the greater good, the self-sacrisfising, in the actions of the SMOrcs. So please, live up and give the SMOrgs the respect and the credit they deserve
ME GO FACE?
There is always that one guy who likes to over complicate things.
My understanding is, since Face Hunter is a thing, it's not a high skill deck (Hunter"tard"). Orcs are considered stupid. I think that's where the connection is. Like someone posted on Icehowl "No SMORC? Bad card SMOrc". I mean decks that are built around hitting the face are stupid :)
Rexxar is not an orc. :D
Garrosh isn't either.

Galavant Animation
That explains it. Sometimes google just isn't enough.
Galavant Animation
Its a twitch.tv emote. When streamers go face or play hunter viewers spam SMOrc
......face is the place.
SO, it's pretty much similar to ZERG:)!
HAHAHA! Classic!
