Some while ago, I made a Winter Veil set that was...pretty craptacular. But it's been fixed! IF Blizz were to even remotely implement something like this, I'd have no idea how they would go about it. But I imagine most of these being quest rewards? Anyway.
these cards are really nice, the artwork is very cool, i think you put a lot of work in them but you did a good job and i think you got the card balancing absolutely right. I only have one question: what is decay from the text of Chains of Ice? is it a new keyword or just an existing ability you renamed?
@Nakazawa: -Metzen was actually made with Token Paladin in mind, with the main point of synergy being Sword of Justice and Hobgoblins. -Yep. So it would be entirely possible for Tirion Fordring to turn into a Murloc! -Fireball these days is almost exclusively used as a finishing move in a delay mage deck. Frostwave is geared more towards taking down big minions. -Death Knight! A minion that is Decayed loses 1 Health at the end of each turn.
@Bezedrine: Darkmoon Faire? I have, but I'm having a hard time thinking of anything all too awesome. :<
Frostwave: Powercreep - Why would you want to play Fireball again?
I also did a double take here, but then noticed it was minion only. As WhiskyGeorge said, a lot of Fireball's power lies in the fact that it is an effective finisher.
To WhiskyGeorge, nice work on a fun card set! And I'll second that a Darkmoon Faire set would be fun.
Obnoxious Yeti is underpriced. With charge this should be 6-mana, -1 for "ogre" effect to put it at 5. Either that or make it a 4-3. It's edging on power creep, especially with an empty board.
The Greench cards are cool in concept but unfortunately Blizzard won't touch anything that interferes with an opponent's deck with a 10-foot pole. Personally, I love the flavor of the legendary and epic (you give up a lot of tempo and stats just to draw off the opponent, so it's balanced, (maybe even underpowered in attack).
:D Indeed! Spirits of Winter Veil was completely redone to give mill druids more potential ammo. As for those out of place cards, I can sort of agree with Hardpacked Snowball, but...really, can you think of any kind of effect other than freeze for a snowball? And hippogryphs are Stormwind staples, so I felt that was the single exception.
Now, Tiny Snowman could use a buff. But, that would be too big of a boon for the Priest card. At least my rationale. Honestly, this is probably the first card set I made on here that I'm fully and wholly satisfied with. All the stuff before the DK thread I outright deleted. XD
Next, Molten Core! Then maybe Darkmoon Faire. ...If I can think of something for it. ;_;
Well...yeah, no changes. Unless there's like a...Murloc Warleader hanging about. Murlocs have never exactly been among the great thinkers of our time, and they'll give the bonus to anyone these days. :P

Good stuff, just a few quick thoughts.
