Hi, I'm creating my first custom expansion, which I will post it here sometime later, but I have trouble balancing these 2 cards. They are Neutral Legendary Spells (sounds weird I know). By the way, the Dragon Aspects are Ysera, Malygos, Alexstrasza, and Nozdormu. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I agree. Take away the silence effect. Their effects are what make the dragons interesting You can't take advantage of malygos that turn anyway because of the end of turn effect if that's what your worried about (that's the only thing I can see, or it's giving your opponent the first attack unconditionally). I also think this would fit more as a quest reward, at a cheaper cost.
Lets think the good version gives you ysera, malygos, alexstrsza, and norzdormu. With that in mind here's a few suggestions.
Option 1:If you want to make it spicy, and youre worried theres going to be effects that cant be used on field like with deathwing, make your own version of deathwing. Hell there are two already. If you want to make a deathwing that does something, make it so. Give it a deathrattle or give it something to do with the black dragon flight.
Option 2: have them add the card to the players hands instead so that alexstrsza and deathwing van have their battlrcries. This way one players got a lot of value in hand, but the others got a deathwing that can flip the table at any time and could technically trade into a lot of the aspects. In that case, I'd say just make the good one and now that I think about it, 7 mana would be fair for the amount of value you're getting.
Option 3: Make corrupted versions of the aspects that go the the "evil side" along with deathwing, and a neltharion and have them be added to the good side along woth neltharion. If you did that though, I'd DEFINITELy make this a quest reward to give your opponent some interplay time to try and empty their hands.

JMAP94. The best way to love the artist is to love the art.
The idea is very cool but in my opinion it is more interesting when the cards aren’t silenced.
Maybe you can design a special version of deathwing that is summoned with for example: “Deathrattle: Deal 5 damage to all dragons” so that the player with the deathwing has a way to regain board value.

I don't think they should be silenced, not because of balance, but because it's more interesting that way.
I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."

At first I thought so, but balancing them would be so hard, since Deathwing has useless text if not played from hand, it would only buff the Good one.
