I basically want to see more diverse styles of play for all the classes.
We all know there used to be several styles of warlock with zoo, handlock, renolock, or Warrior with patron, control, fatigue, aggro and so on.
Right now there seems to be a lack of styles between each of the classes. Warrior is pretty much only pirate warrior, or an aggro variation. Where has mill druid or rogue gone? There is pretty much only jade and miracle styles left.
Well, lets try to introduce some cards that change styles of play for each of the classes.
My first entry will be a card for hunter that can help it fit the more controlling/midrange style.
Give me your thoughts and opinions or share your own cards in this regard :)
I'm not really sure how usable Rebirth is going to be. In most cases, it will just be a worse Reno Jackson. Destroying your mana crystals is a really huge bummer, but you can somehow offset this disadvantage if you spent some of your mana beforehand. But still, to be perfectly honest, it's not really useful even if Shaman has some useful tools to form a Control deck.
Here's my take for a Control Hunter card, much like the first card. What do you think?
I totally agree on the wording being long. Configuring it to have the Inspire tag instead is brilliant. Durability might fix the issue of the long text even if the intentions was to try and maintain the bow for as long as possible. Though it is counterable by ooze, (by design).
In the case of your card, I do love the idea of Rebirth. But as Originator mentioned, the cost of destroying Mana Crystals, could be fatal. It's costed nicely overall considering. A thought could be to overload for (10) or destroy half of the crystals, and perhaps even overload that. But then you run into the same issue as my card has. A lot of mechanics on 1 card.
That being said. Hearthstone needs a few more complicated mechanics, not just autoplay cards :)
Stalker's Pursuit is a nice weapon. I see it functioning as a deadly shot, with the benefit of you controlling where it goes and getting 1 turn of stealth to recover, the downside being the damage to the face and inability to bypass taunt. (Which I would consider a good thing for it's purposes). A thought would be to simplify the text by just having it say Poisonous before the Battlecry. :)
