I like the idea, and I guess such high damages won't still make it OP since nobody probably arranges his/her minions in a way where the biggest health minion is in the middle etc.
Interesting, but I probably wouldn't play this over Flamestrike. Very often, Flamestrike does a great job at clearing the board. Big minions aren't usually accompanied by lots of other smaller ones, so by the time you'd need to play this, you're already way behind.
Imagine say, two Molten Giants. Against a handlock, you usually find a teeny tiny Defender of Argus or Sunfury Protector in the middle. That's a wasted 6 damage right there, leaving behind one slightly bruised 8/6.
Because fireworks. What other reason do you need?
Sorry, but face is NOT place :P
I guess its fine ;-)

If you got the coin, the Mercenaries get going. Vote for The Mercenary for CCC #3.
How about using the actual ingame meteor effect of WoW?
Something like 'deal 12 damage split evenly over all enemy minions'
One minion will basicly be oneshot, 2 minions would both get fireballed for 1 extra mana, 3 minions would get flamestrike for 2 extra mana.
All those options in just one card! Versatility like that would be awesome :)
Seems pretty good in Control Reno Mage.
