Druid in my favorite class, and I'd really like it if the Beast acrhetype became more than a dream for the class. Sadly, the Beasts and synergy cards the class has received in the past don't really measure up to the task, so I thought I'd gup up some of my own ideas on how to make it work.
Really like Barkskin, could even make Claw and Bite playable.
Thanks! Actually, Bite made me think a bit about having Barkskin cost 1. But in the end, since it only works with Beasts, I thought 0 was not OP. If it worked with all friendly minions I think it would have to cost at least 1. It would be too good in Zoo type decks.
I like the concept, the execution, and I think they would indeed make Beast Druid more viable. Great work!
As to the Lizard, do you actually draw Highmane if a hunter reveals it? Then I think it's a little bit cheap. It's a 3 mana 2/4 with a potential of drawing two Cards and denying a card for your opponent (drawing two cards from your own deck is alone 3 mana). And it still has a good chance of drawing at least one card. And in worst case it's a 3 mana 2/4 which is still acceptable.
This is really good in my opinion. Excellent work and concept. Beast is one of the classes that don't have a real "identity" to them yet. Maybe beast druid could be a way, and these cards are very good in both power and design. Specially barkskin would force your opponent to attack face instead of trading so they won't get completely destroyed by that card. Good concept.

Now that you say this, I'm realizing I read the Lizard wrong. I thought you drew one card, but could potentially draw your opponents. I suppose I thought it read "if either is a beast, you draw one of the cards".
Stealing a minion from your opponent's deck would be a blast.

Yes, you would draw their Savannah Highmane. It would be a blowout, but you have to look at the average outcome. Most decks you face won't run beasts at all. Even you won't be able to run a beast only deck, so on average this would draw about 0.67 cards, assuming two thirds of your minions are beasts. If you look at King's Elekk the joust ability will net you a card with a similar frequency if you are running a high curve deck, and it loses no stats for the ability.
I think Angler Lizard has a similar blowout potential to Ram Wrangler. Sometimes you get a really good beast. But whereas Ram Wrangler "Draws and plays" the beast, with Angler Lizard you would still need to cast what you drew and instead the blowout comes from drawing something from your opponent.
The 2/4 stat line is defensive and is probably the best statline for a 3 drop with an ability. Maybe it could be more acceptable with a 3/3 statline, but losing statpoints is not warranted IMO. I think this falls under the "Class cards can get away with it" clause.
Yes, it probably could get away with it. I also thought about it a little bit more and found the card more and more acceptable in the present form. It will be OP against hunter and in a mirror it will likely decide the match by pure rng more than once, but all in all it seems good.
One thing I am still unsure about is that in contrary to king's Elekk, you draw a card with a higher certainty. Or at least you can influence the probability by putting more beasts in your deck. And then, most of the time it's a 3 mana vanillastats cantrip for 3 mana. Which is better than the very good Azure Drake (5 mana cantrip with 4 mana vanillastats). But then again, I think it would be a reason why beast druid could become viable. So no objection any more from my side.
Also keep in mind that Angler Lizard will not draw druids from your deck since those are not beasts in your deck. So you could actually still have a relatively small chance of drawing from your own deck even with beast druid.
Summon the Pack: card is good, even tho the name is rly wierd, ur drawing cards, ur not summoning anything. Sure ur getting and extra card if u have a beast, so ur kinda like getting it a friend, but its still sounds rly wierd to me.
Angler Lizard:big no-no. its a deck attack, no from me. And even if i forget about the deck attack part, u get a 2/4 for 3 (which r already vanilla stats for a 3 drop), it itself is a beast (so bonus synergy with your deck) AND u can draw 1-2 cards. Sure its a coin toss even in a druid deck, but more then not it would get u a card. If nothing else, its needs to go up one mana (and can go up 1 stat as well).
Barkskin: pretty cool design, but i dont think it can cost 2 mana. Bite + 2x Barkskin = your entire board +8 HP, yeah gl with that enemy. And thats just one example. I think it should cost 1 or 2 mana. Also why so shitty wording on the last one?:P Small "b" in beast, word "extra" (Like any buff that gives HP says extra. I guess u wanted to emphasize, that it is a health buff and not a heal, if the beast was damaged, but that should be implied, so no need for the "extra" i think ;-)) and no dot at the end of a sentence :P

My favorite here is the Lizard. Could be in a few deck types: Aggro Druid, Beast Druid or even Mill?
Really hoping standard makes some other archetypes viable!

I still like the Lizard, but I would work on the wording a bit. It's rather unclear as its worded now.
Maybe last sentence: "Draw any beast revealed"?
