I'm new to druid, played my first game with the class tonight.
I built a cheap agro druid to check the class out, and was missing one bittertide hydra, so ran a fate spinner instead. It actually did well for me with plays using living mana. I would play the living mana, then trade the fate spinner into something in order to buff the living mana tokens.
I get this is probably in no way ideal given how many buffs these kind of decks already run, but if you have the card anyway, is it still a bad choice?
Just wondering whether I should just dust the card to recoup some spent dust from crafting the living mana cards for the deck or not!? I mean I only spent like 1.5k dust getting the deck to a point where I think it'll work, but I'd still like to get some of the dust back from D/E'ing bum cards where possible.
It's generally considered a bad card because the stat-line is abysmal and the deathrattle choice is very predictable. Generally I would d/e the card.

Hypothetically it could be good in a control type Druid... it’s just that Druid has soooo many great options that outclass it. Maybe once Jades rotate out, it’ll see some consideration.
I have a quick question about bittertide hydra as well.
Is it really that good of a choice given it hurt you, do you just use it for a finisher or something? I was thinking of running 2x cobal scalebane instead of it.
what do you guys think?
PS: I am also thinking about popping leeroy jenkins in there just because I tend to add him to agro decks as added burst to trade or for finishers. I guess if he was that good in the deck though, I'd have seen him in one by now on here.

thinking about it, I think Scalebane could be better in that deck than Hydra. Regarding Leeroy, this is more of a zoo deck, not so much as aggro like past face hunter of pirate warrior, so I don't think it's a very good addition to this deck. :)

Hydra is good if opponent cleared your board but Cobal don't.
If your opponent don't clear your board you win in turn 5 and don't need them.

thanks dude.
I also run him in zoolock sometimes, and he does well... I will take your advice though. (I may still try him out for a few games though if I feel I need some more burst)

I only have one of them, so may add it then.
I'm not quite sure what you mean though.. play it if your board gets cleared?
