Let's talk how this experimental CW performs againt popular ladder decks:
- hunter : Reno is probably the best card in the game against them. Face hunter is basically a free win, midrange can be still problematic but unless they have huge board which can not be answered - Reno recks them as well. After healing to 30 you can race them even if they play highmane. All you need is a solid late game - then you become an aggressor.
- paladin: Still bad matchup for warrior but i won few games against them. I play few cards which helps a lot against them: RevengeSpellbreaker for Tirion and Deathwing which is a great card against secret paladin since they usually don't run removals. If i win against them - Deathwing usually delivers a final blow.
- priest: 5 - 0 against them. Gorehowl is the best card in this matchup. Besides that, all you need is to save your best removals for YseraCard Name or Chromaggus. Control priest is even easier unless they are really greedy.
- mage: freeze mage is free win, tempo mage matchups really depends on their curve. I faced only 1 tempo mage and won easily but i need to fight more of them to rate this matchup properly.
- druid: Reno is MVP against aggro version of druid. Midrange druid is hard and i think this is the worst matchup next to secret paladin. Still winable though. Reno helps a lot to escape from combo range.
So you are winning all the matchups in which CW had already before a high % win?
Yes. But hunter and aggro druid matchup significantly improved. That's the difference. Midrange hunter and aggro druid is not so easy for control warrior. And I would never say that face hunter is a free win. Reno improves win ratio against them a lot.
This not a topic like "hi guys, look at my awesome deck". I just created a deck based on Reno and just want to share it with other people.
Question. Does Reno glow yellow to indicate that his effect will activate?
Ive used him a few times now and the yellow glow never happened. Luckily i use Hearthstone Deck Tracker, so I was able to see if there were any 2x left in my deck. There definitely should be an indication of some sort.

Sorry dude, Reno is amazing in Control Warrior !! Simply amazing. Of course you have to adjust the deck a little bit, but not too much. I am still running double Armorsmiths, Belchers, Death's Bite etc.... He is winning so many games.
Fatigue Warrior is a version of Control Warrior. It's all about controlling the board, getting 2-for-1 on each of your cards and so being able to outlast and maneuver your opponent.
Regardless, the concept is most certainly viable and the fact that it doesn't improve any of the bad match-ups is irrelevant so long as it doesn't weaken any of the already strong match-ups.
I don't even think you need to build a deck especially around him. I only have 9 card pairs in my CW deck, and they're all 5 cost or below. I think he's worth including to beat other control matchups, or other control decks in long games.

I agree. Been using him in Freeze Mage with only 10 pairs. He's consistent enough and seems to fit well. You totally don't have to make some EDH type deck in order for him to be good.

In general i agree with your point of view but you have to realize how fast is current meta. Games are decided around turn 5-10.
When? Against hunter, tempo mage, secret pala, aggro druid. You can not be sure that reno will heal you at that point. I want to be sure he will do it. And if he does it, you win a game. Double fiery war axe is not necessary. Zombie chow replace it pretty well. Only painful thing is to remove shield slam and execute. This is bad but you dont really need both copies against aggro. It hurts only in control matchups.
Holding rank 3 right now and i started at rank 7 with this deck. Going to hit legend or die trying.
I decided to build a deck around him today and i am doing surprisingly fine on ladder. My list if you are interested:

Going to try this deck more in following days.
Thanks for sharing your list! I'll consider your choices and possibly make adjustments to my list...

I don't believe it. Is the anti-aggro card that everyone's hyping up to high heavens... actually living up to the hype? :-O
