Most likely be a replacement for molten giants in handlocks, since now you don't need to go down in hp, just life tap a few times. And you'll get a giant out as soon, only this time with some more health, plus the giants can be played after you've played lord jarraxuzz. Hence making them objectivly better than molten giant in every possible case.
These are considerably worse than Molten Giant against aggro. You can't drop two for zero mana then taunt up which is why molten is played. I don't think you'd usually be able to play this for less than 4 mana in most games, and even then only late in the game, so I think I'd prefer to just run Boom or Rag.

its hard to tell from this brawl, but Frost Giant may be more viable in inspire based decks than I initially expected. I still don't really expect it to see much play, but I wouldn't be surprised if I end up being wrong on this one. In warrior specifically, I don't really see it though, except again if an inspire warrior develops. Or perhaps, as someone above said, in a charge OTK deck

Nay. I think the inspire deck in the brawl would get murdered on ladder, even more so when you try to spam your hero power every turn.
Similar to the weird Majordomo Executus grinder mage deck, there might be a Frost Giant mage because mage can get away with a lot of weak early turns thanks to freeze, aoe board clears and blocks. I don't see why you wouldn't just use Molten Giant instead though..
i m not asking about inspire deck, i m asking control warrior and frost giants

I think he might work in Control Warrior. I've been counting my hero powers and I think he could be pretty decent. I'm certainly going to give one a try when the set releases. If anything else I don't think he will be bad in Control Warrior.

again, please read the actual question.
Well, the dude above me was speaking of handlocks so i thought i ought to teach him as lesson. Besides if you want people to strictly talk about this card in warrior only then maybe you should have come up with a better title, "yay or nay" says nothing really. It gives a feeling of a more general aspect. A more fitting title would then be "frozen giant in ctrl warrior". Not much longer than you current but slightly more precise.
Besides if you got a clear idea of a discussion topic then just throw it out in the opening post, there's no need for any explanation on how you got to the question. Why even meantion mention "hand lock" in your opening post or what you were doing before or during the origin of the question. "While i was eating my ham sandwich with extra topping i got an idea". Obviously those things might bring up far more off-topic discussion than a clean question. This is something you must understand.
or you can read the actual post. what did you do? read the first two sentence?
It would have been great on my first round with the inspire deck....If I actually drew the fucking thing.

I can see this one being played even with hunters, since they tend to use their hero power a lot to put pressure in the opponent.
yay, definately yay, i won way too many times with medivh using giants.
yay from me
Golden Heroes(Ordered by acquired): Hunter. Paladin. Warlock. Mage. Shaman(hehe thanx blizz free-be) Warrior and Druid.
Frost Giant can serve as win condition with Charge, that is at least how I envisioned it to work in control warrior, and maybe replacing Grommash.

OMG! This card gonna be epic. Control warrior can do OTK as well. Frost Giant (tap till 0 mana) + Charge + 2x Faceless Manipulator (each card reduced by 1 mana from Emperor Thaurissan). Easy 30 damage to face. #SMorc
I think they will disappoint, as will inspire decks in general. I guess that is Nay.
After crafting an Anima Golem right after GvG, I will take a long time on the fence before crafting those.
