Since I have gotten a golden" blackhowl gunspire" from the preorder a few expansions ago, I have always wanted to make a competitive deck in which its viable and I think I may have just found the recipe. I have gotten legend which it just now, and I don't know whether or not it's because of the end of the season but it went on an insane winning streak.
The idea of this deck is just to play the tempo game, which if luck serves you well, you will always win. There is too much card draw in this deck so you will almost always be done with cycling through your whole deck by turn 10.
You have three finishers/combo's in this game which depending on what your plan is you can either choose to do both in separate turns or just commit to one of them.
Combo 1: Kokron elite + inner rage + rampage + Bloodsworn mercenary + weapon swing for 20 damage to the face for 9 mana.
Combo 2: (needs overlords whip equipped) This one is the one that brings in the fireworks and your opponents won't know what's coming. You can either play gunspire on turn 7 and then double Bloodsworn it on turn 8 followed by a turn 9 warpath into 38 damage to the face, however this is only the dream scenario. Most of the time playing it on turn 7 followed by copying it on turn 8 with triple warpath is enough to close the game.
The other method to do the combo is to play gunspire and Bloodsworn it on turn 10, so your board will be two 3/7 gunspire's with a 3/3 Bloodsworn. Your opponent will and can't deal with the gunspires most of time , that is when you do warpath x5 on turn 10 which leads to exactly 32 damage to the face.
Combo 3 Kokron elite + inner rage + double Bloodsworn also 18 damage to the face, this combo is usefull if you have used rampage earlier in the game for tempo.
Overlord's whip is insane in this deck and you should always keep it in your mulligan hand, also find the other one drops and maybe battle rage.
Dynomatic is a great board control tool and it synergizes with gunspire for 15 damage to the face if your opponent does not deal with it.
Combo warrior in my opinion has always been lacking some kind of finisher and unironically it feels like gunspire is the ideal choice for it.
Try it out and let me know what you think of this new archetype, if I receive upvotes I can write an even more detailed guide.
I find it incredibly hard to believe this deck can be piloted to Legend, but congratulations man, nice job.
If anything, I still think people mulligan for Control Warrior when they see a Warrior on ladder, so you still have the element of surprise with this deck. Can you share more about your matchups and how many matches you've played to get to Legend? What was your streak? We talking 15-0 or 4-0?

You have excluded Leeeeeeerooooooy Jenkins... thoughts on that?
Omg, you are right!! No just kidding, I have tested them both and they are both good, but in the end its up to preference. Kokron enables you to float 1 mana for shield slam or w/e and let's you do the combo one turn earlier.
Also by using kokron elite you can either do the kokron combo first or after gunspire it's up to you. But with Leeroy I have found that because of the extra two welps summoned from its battle cry, you sometimes miss out on three damage with the gunspire because it hits the welp one time.
Wanted to try this deck, but realised I don't have Blackhowl Gunspire any more (dusted it yonks back for whatever reason). Need to craft it, but not enough dust.
Crafted the gunspire. First game against a Quest Druid. The poor guy didn't know what hit him. After wasting his Starfalls against two Rampaging 7/5 Kor'kron Elites, he then tried to play a taunt in front of the two Gunspires. He conceded before the Warpaths could finish destroying him.
So far, so good. :-)
Love the deck (always like aggro warrior - so much more fun than control). Will see how well it continues. Also, double Eternium Rover into Battle Rage, with the weapon equipped feels like cheating... XD
I've been experimenting a Bloodsworn deck myself, but more of a midrange type with Frothing Berserker and such. I find rush minions, especially Restless Mummy, extremely powerful with Berserker. Berserker into Mummy is a great curve. You can just snowball the opponent with sticky Reborn minions. We've got some interesting tools in this expansion for sure.

Hey guys,

I've often wanted to try a Gunspire dek but never gotten around to it.
What are the Crystallizers for though? I don't see a use for them?
I guess you want them to help against aggro in early game, and especially activate the battle rage, so you draw one more.
They can also activate Shield Slam.
It's surely good to be you but I'd rather stick to my rank4.
Crystallizers are to enable battle rage and shield slam on turn one :)
Ah yes! Good point! :-)
I'm going to try this deck tonight.

The story so far...

Ok, go buy 15 packs (it's the end of the month - that's what I'll tell the wife. Ahem!)
Out of 15 packs, I get:
- Reno the Relicologist
- Vessina
- Colossus of the Moon
Crafted the gunspire.

Well fucking done!
Why no Grommash in such deck? + i would definiately add another korkron
really hard to believe. but I love you for actually using blackhowl gunspire. Cheers to you lad!
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Congrats!
"There is no spoon"
Played 3 games with this deck. . . lost all 3
1 to a Mech Hunter, 1 to a Virnall Shaman and the other to a Conjurer's Big mage.
Gonna lump my lot in with the "really hard to believe" crowd.
I also find it hard to believe this got Legend (unless it was like the last 3 stars!), but serious congratz for doing it!.
Congrats! Im gonna try this deck for sure.
another evidence that ppl can reach legend with any deck
good job
Replacement for Gunspire? Just kidding, congrats.
