Well, if you got legend you are a better player than I. But, it looks to me like Instill Morale (the one that generates a lackey) would be a better card than Whirlwind in your deck. Give it a try and see.
I think the idea here is definitely worth exploring further. I have been considering something along similar lines as well. And apparently, so has Zalae.
Though, I don't understand some of the clunky cards that you decided to go with. Even with some overlord's whip synergy, Security Rover seems too slow. A more robust Rush package would also seem to be a good thing.

I tried running Instill Morale diligently at first, all the way up to rank 2...unfortunately the lackeys are often fairly dead cards for multiple turns. Random Warrior spells often aren't tempo-oriented like Rogue or Warlock spells. There are already Rush minions in the deck, not to mention many minions that don't have a lot of attack, so giving something rush usually isn't that impactful. Morphing a minion isn't always desired, and if it is like in Witchwood Piper's case it's often too hard to make fit into the curve. 2 damage is always nice, as well as summoning a random 2 drop, but again the deck has to fit in the 1 mana to cast that after spending 1 mana doing nothing but pinging something and letting it live.
I'm sure Instill Morale has a home in a Warrior deck, but it's not this one and the alternatives are far more useful and consistent in here. I was surprised just how often 1 damage for free or enraging an Acolyte, Wasp, Grommash or Security Rover on curve impacted a game - or WW'ing a board of weenies away for that matter (hello Mech Hunter, Zoolock and Lackey Rogue) - whereas spending mana to ping something and leave it alive often wasn't. Maybe an aggro deck that runs tons of minions (more than the 19 here at least) and also doesn't involve a big Rush package will make better use of it.
Edit: The deck can probably get away with one copy of Instill Morale, but I'd highly advise not replacing the other ping or draw cards or putting in more than one copy. Even the Cruel Taskmaster is extremely solid and consistently worth a lot immediately in most scenarios when played. Most of the Lackeys wind up being dead cards over multiple turns in here - even the spell one - so 2 is always definitely overkill. I'd recommend replacing the Lifedrinker with a copy if someone wanted to try it out as Lifedrinker is just there for a bit more reach and sustain and is itself not in any way a staple.
A Bomb deck with card draw and lots of tempo plays.
Just hit legend with it minutes before the next season! hahaha
