Yesterday the new VS report came out and in it I read about an oondasta version of odd taunt warrior. The difference from my previous version is:
-1x blackwald pixie, -1x glutinous ooze and -1x ironbeak owl
+2x ironwood grizzly and +1x oondasta
The thing with the 3 cards that are cut is I find them very useful. The pixie closes out the game and really won me games in doing so, the ooze can be quite devastating to a lot of meta decks, (hunters, rogues, pallies and cubelocks) and although the owl rarely makes a huge difference, it could do well against cubes which are probably coming in larger numbers over the next week.
With odd taunt warrior you have no problem against aggro decks so the grizzlies won't be much of a difference there and I don't quite see how they help in your bad matchups i.e. dr hunter, exodia Pally and cubelock
I have a very good experience with VS's predictions and I trust they are right. I just found it surprising so was curious what you guys think about the strength of these cards.
The previous cards where tech cards and therefore, situational.
I definitely recommend you to try the new version. You'll want to have oondasta on 9 every single time, it swings the game no matter the matchup, which can't be said about owl and ooze.
Ondasta is very similar to Master Broakheart, if played on curve can win you the game thanks to a big Tempo Swing (you need to add cards thar synergyzes with it though, 2×Grizzly in this case)

Yes I can see that oondasta is a strong package with the grizzlies and the allready present amani warbeasts but its quite high mana cost and if you don't draw oondasta early it becomes a bit weaker I imagine.
Also, I really don't see which matchups this is really game winning. If been playing odd taunt warrior the last week and it's good against most hunters, I really didn't lose a single match vs hunter from rank 5 till 2, odd rogue and your general aggro decks but I suffer against paladin and I expect more cube decks.
I wanna push for legend this weekend so not much room for a bad deck decision. I will go for the oondasta version cause I trust VS knows better than I do ;)
No comments in warrior forum for two weeks is sad.
Warrior is my most successful and solid class. Control warrior is realy good in the actual meta.
Oonstada is one mana too expensive but still quite good. I digged out odd warrior which I stoped to play one month after boomsday and did some adaption. OTK is still unfavorable but the best part is hunter destruction.

Depends. If you play other beasts, Oondasta is useful and not so much situational. It's a legit tech

Not much attention for a saltless thread I see, let's try bumping one last time

I could see pixie making a come back in this deck.

Looks a bit greedy but works solid. It´s not a fagitue version so no elise + zola or dr Boom. Just kill the insects ^^.
Possible replacements if liked (propably missing legends) are:
Ironbeak owl for Tinkmaster
Glutonuos Ooze for Harrison
Blackwald Pixie or Tar creeper for Oonstada.
Depends. If you play other beasts, Oondasta is useful and not so much situational.
It's a legit tech
