I see many lists are running Eternium Rover....I don't know what is good about it? It is has both low attack and health even against early minions it shouldn't trade that well and it only gains armor if it is damaged. I think Armorsmith is better than it isn't it?
Let's say it like this. dropping a 1/3 turn 1 vs dropping a 1/4 turn 2 does have a big difference in a aggro matchup, giving that both of them will generate around 4-3 armor and at least one good trade vs a token minion. This card might not have a huge effect like Armorsmith late game, but it's early potential is definetely better. And looking at the warrior decks today, the absence of whirlwind effects, hurts Armorsmith by a lot.
So against aggro you get situations as Warrior where you're getting nuked by early aggression. Your hope almost entirely lies in drawing cards like Reckless Flurry and Dyn-o-matic to mitigate the early aggression and survive past turn 8 roughly. By then you should have the other tools to sweep, control, or direct the board in your favor. The problem is, as an aggro player recently I can share my success and Warrior's demise, there are situations where aggression draws well and the Warrior draws poorly. Sometimes the best play is pass (1), armor (2), armor (3), armor-coin-reckless (4). That is sub-optimal. By then the aggressive decks have taken you nearly down to half or more of your hp, and you are now playing severely behind with a class that now has to also use its health (armor) to destroy the board. Enter Eternium Rover. On curve, it can build armor so that your Reckless Flurry doesn't need armor and coin activation. Against aggro, it is a clear and excellent mitigation choice.
If 2 mana 3/2's were super present like in Vanilla Hearthstone, yeah Eternium Rover might not see much play. But I honestly don't see very many 2 mana 3/2's out there anymore. Maybe the 3/2 adapt a beast, but if you went first, you probably already killed his 1 drop beast, you know? Not to mention it works very well with whirlwind effects/blood razor/warpath, and doesn't get hit by something like Dyn-o-matic either. It's just a solid card, honestly. 1 mana 1/3 with a bonus effect which can be abused, is a premium card
it's just a really good 1 drop. having a 1/3 turn 1 is great. also, it being a mech adds a lot of potential value to warriors (specifically odd warrior), as you can magnetize it for potential extra armor gains.

It’s a very good turn 1 drop
how much hearth could a hearthstone stone if a hearthstone could stone hearth
That's all.
1/3 is premium stats for a 1-drop. Nice for clearing tokens and Silver Hand Recruits, and usually grabs you 4+ armour.
It replaces Armorsmith in odd warrior decks (because hero Power is too good).
It's very strong against 1/1 tokens on board. That's a big factor, because you often want to get rid of them before they get out of control.
it killsbunch of 1/1 tokens before you can start dropping the AoES, so it makes sure you dont get overwhelmed

is it good to run both Armorsmith and Eternium Rover though?
It's a very good 1-mana drop but Warrior is dead af atm.
I'm running it in an Odd Quest Warrior, it's a good 1-drop to deal with Aggro, it gives armor and it can be magnetized.
I like it :)

you're right. Armorsmith is better but unfortunately for odd warrior, armorsmith costs 2 mana. This is the 1 mana early game replacement.
It's the best 1 drop for warrior right now and can be magnetized with Zilliax in the late game too. :)
Always expect the unexpectable!

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
I think Armorsmith can end up being a win-more card a lot of the time, because when its better than Eternium Rover you already have the board.
