Throughout the years I've been playing this game. I was never the top, top player of the bunch. The grind wasn't what I enjoyed. My love for this game is all in the deck building. The concept of new meta potential intrigues me, and I think I might have found one. With that said, I introduce to you: the Warrior Weaponist.
I'd appreciate some feedback on it. If you think it's as good as I do, even with some potential tweaks if you come up with any, why don't you take it for a ride.
If you don't think it's good, and whatever experience you have if you play it, why don't you share it down below in the comment section.
Brawl: I don't really like it on what is essentially a midrange/tempo deck, it's going to be a dead card in many matchups
Second arathi weaponsmith instead of blood razor: I like having the extra body, and I'm not sure if the whirlwind effect is that important these days. I could be wrong on this one.
Scourgelord garrosh: I just removed him to make some space for other stuff I think is better. I could be wrong on this one.
Forge of souls: card draw is nice, but having more than one weapon in hand never feels good. Idk, maybe I'm wring about this one too.
Fungalmancer: not sure if you're going to have the minions on board to pull it off consistently
Furnacefire colossus: could work, but I don't like it a lot. I think smashing your opponent in the face with weapons is more important that making massive minions.
I added kor'kron elite, frothing berserker and the lich king because they fit the deck and are good cards overall
Somehting else I will have to check is if the deck is better by being more bursty (adding leeroy and heroic strike) or a bit slower (my version as it is)
What about adding a single copy of gorehowl? I mean worse come worse it is a pretty good anti-taunt weapon? Plus it is very nice with greenskin and with upgrade?
I'm open minded about changes. I haven't tried out the deck much myself. You do make valid points and rather than clearing, I think it's a good idea to make it a bit more minion heavy.
On the optimization part, it's tough to make it fully optimal of course. Depending on where you go with it, Forge of Souls works well with Furnacefire Colossus. Then again, it's generally cleared pretty easily depending on how much pressure you managed to put on beforehand. Holding many weapons = not much pressure = easily cleared. I like the card myself, but I haven't figured out how to play him.
A lot to figure out. That's why I shared the deck. I wanted to put the concept out there, because I think there is potential when the deck is optimized.
If you have any updates on further thoughts I'd appreciate them. You seem experienced.
I've tried it, and the burst potential is good. However, it doesn't synchronize with the early pressure that you will want to put out. That's my perspective.
Edit: Then again, there might be different ways of playing the deck other than full on pressure.
:-). Cool answer. Beside that my deck version seems to work but i need more testing. Got distracted by a funny Princ Liam deck that is cool but doesn' t realy work ...
I like the flavor of that deck, yet I don't see how and against what it wins. Spellstone is nice, but it way worse compared to simillar effect cards Dragoncaller Alanna and Omega Agent because you're forced to have a dead card in your hand for some time. Colossus can grow insanely big, but in current meta even aggro deck brings 1-2 owls to silence it, and control decks will have even more ways to handle it. Moreover, to afford inclusion of such a big finishers you'd probably want some tools to survive early pressure, and a single brawl doesn't seem to handle it well. Instead of control tools, I'd probably add some effecient early agression: Southsea Deckhand, Frothing Berserker, probably Zilliax to heal up after trading minions with face, yet I'm still not sure how well it will work.

Cheers peeps. Have a good one. Enjoy.
Hmm.. broken link, somewhere?
I forgot to share the actual deck at first. It should be there now though.
I like the idea, this would be my take on it
I don't expect to get too far with it (even if the deck was 100% optimized, which is most likely not), but I'll let you know how it goes
Thanks mate. Any thoughts on why and on what's missing, or is it more of a gut feeling?
Edit: I do like your version of it. Interesting.

I try something a bit diffrent. Gromash would fit so maybe for a Armani Berserker. Don´t now if that works.
Reminds me of pirate warrior killing you by turn 5 lol
Lmao

Hey man, in case you're still interested, I've updated my deck. I've been testing a lot of stuff and I think this is the final version.
I'm having decent success with it, currently at rank 4. I'll see if I can make it to legend with it.
