I've been looking into the odd warrior decks and most of the cards are from witchwood + booms expansion so it will be viable for the next 2 years. Is it a good idea to invest dust into warrior if you're a new player like me?.
I know counter to what people say, I find it fun. It will be something nice to work towards, and this list would probably get you to rank 5 with a lot of time and work.

I've had fun with odd warrior in the past, but it's primarily been odd quest warrior. I know there have been a few tweaks to it, and not sure if it is as viable as it was pre-boomsday, but it was a lot of fun. I would have to look into odd warrior (no quest) to see if it is a decent deck to run with.
Baku is a good legendary to craft not only for odd warrior, it opens up odd pally and odd rogue if you wanted to try two strong aggro decks as well. I say craft Baku and try odd warrior. If you don’t like it, you can play the other odd decks. Win win in my eyes and a value craft in the long run.
Also, odd warrior is a good deck. I hit legend this month using only odd warrior and odd quest warrior. No other strategies or classes.
As someone who has traditionally loved to play Control Warrior, this deck is good but very dull to play. Maybe the issue is the mechs aren't exciting enough, including the hero card? I'm not sure.
In general, I don't think so. The deck is powerful enough but games take a long time so it's bad for serious climbing. It's tilting to play because of the existence of many autolose matchups
But if you're only missing Baku, then I'd say go ahead. Since Baku is a key card in many decks, the cost of unlocking odd warrior for you is very low. You may as well try it out. At worse you will improve your game knowledge that's applicable to the game in general and when facing odd warrior on the other side
Baku is a very good card and not only in standard but also in wild.Having access to an upgraded hero power is just super strong and makes a lot of decks more consistent.
I'd say Baku is definitely worth crafting.
Im not sure odd warrior is that good right now though. Depends on your local meta, but the games usually take long and if you go against Rexxar or even worse the Rogue Quest it's just a terrible feeling to know you auto lose.
I’m going to echo what a bunch of people have already said. Baku is a great card. It’s already the foundation of three top decks and it will be in rotation for another year and a half.
I wouldn't recommend. It has polarized matchups meaning you have autowins and autoloses which isn't fun at all. It's definitely strong, tier 2 most probably. If you want to play it because of Dr Boom that's fine, but don't expect awesome results.
Odd Warrior is a great investment short and long term for both formats; even as a Fatigue deck in Witchwood it was viable, that viability will only increase exponentially.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
Feels like a volatile archetype. It's good against pretty much any aggresssive deck for obvious reasons, but it has a couple impossible matchups (Quest Rogue, Control Warlock with Mecha'thun)
I'm currently playing even shaman and I have surprisingly good results against odd warrior (quest and control). I have terrible results against the normal non odd versions of those decks.

I've just opened Dr. Boom, Mad Genius few hours ago and i got the dust to craft Baku the Mooneater. I've never played warrior but im tempted to try it.
This is the deck i would use. It doesn't have many epics/legendaries because i don't have them.
Let me know, ty.

Rank 5 is cool, i would be happy with that.

The Lich King
It's a really fun deck to play and you should definitely try out Supercollider in it, it's an incredible card
Oh and Reckless Flurry, it's a game saver
I know those are both epics and the version you posted is much cheaper but honestly I wouldn't play the deck without those if I were you

Is it an effective archetype ? Yes, very.
Is it fun to play? It gets stale and boring pretty quickly ...
It may be a good investment, rotation wise, but you'll see how slow and redundant it feels

Craft it and don’t look back.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll think it over.
With the absence of Supercollider and recless flurry you need your list to be more aggressive, so frothing berserkers come to my mind.
Always expect the unexpectable!
I just got 1 Reckless Flurry from a pack, any suggestions on what i should take out?
if u dont wanna get otked with mechathun decks (pri, warlock, druid so far will be more i think )
Also consider shudderwock think twice and 1 hour games for a win pretty fast ladder deck monkaS
Forget to mention deathrattle hunter which is almost auto win against warrior %72 winrate and most played deck according to hs replay

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Odd warrior strong, interesting and variable archetype. I thought it would be stronger and stronger for next expansions.
