The Warrior legendary The Boomship is a powerful card but I had trouble finding the right place to put it. I tried the "OTK" with Grommash Hellscream & Charged Devilsaurs but it was too often stifled by cards like Voidlord or Giggling Inventor. Druids were also an issue as they can end up way past 30 effective health. I did find a nice home for the card in quest Warrior using Baku the Mooneater because it gives you a perfect way to use Baku himself! The main targets for Boomship here are Baku along with Ysera & Sleepy Dragon. The main win condition is of course Fire Plume's Heart and we are including both copies of Blackwald Pixie to help burst opponents down. Two more Boomsday Project cards fit really well in taunt warrior. Zilliax is just a great life gain card, solid tempo and of course ticks the quest counter up. Omega Assembly is close to a must play in all Warrior decks and here it can discover a taunt early or provide huge value late game and possibly more big bodies for The Boomship. Being odd means no Warpath so the deck needs one more big board clear. We turn to King Mosh, who combos with the Whirlwind or just another huge Boomship body.
I love The Boomship, it was one of the legendaries I was lucky enough to get early on in the expansion so I can try to fiddle around with it. That being said, I don't think it's amazing in this sort of deck. You don't need big bodies as much as you need to just mash the hero power to whittle down your foes, not to mention that even if you do get to play the boomship in the opportune moment, there's a lot of duds you can hit.
I also don't think Omega Assembly is that great for a deck like this. The deck already has a lot of solid ways to win the game, you don't need more cards to outvalue your opponents, not to mention that most mechs are not the strongest and the card mainly sees play as just a way to get more garbage to throw at people with Dr. Boom.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
I just opened Boomship yesterday and have been looking for a deck to try it out with. I soured at all of the 'throw five different legendaries in a deck and hope for the best' lists that were popular 24hrs after the expansion went live, but I like the looks of this one. I especially like the Baku synergy - what a great way to get value out of a usually dead card. I'll give it a shot!
Been mucking around with Recruit Warrior, and I have to say I love it. The Boomship is amazing card that I feel will play a big role in future Warrior decks.
I think you really need big minions in this deck. You're looking to push lethal fast and hard past turn 6, and your best minions for this are Devilsaurs and Grommash. Anything else is a big stat/value stick to make this happen. It seems most of these decks use cards like Geosculptor and Rotface, but I'm not convinced these increase win rate. You want a tall and wide board, and you can get that well enough with less expensive cards.
It also seems most run only one copy of Dead Man's Hand. I'm considering adding a second.
