I just took a look at hsreplay at how recruit warrior does it against the most common mathchups and surprisingly it seems as though it is favorable against almost eveeything meta right now. Odd pally and rouge, spell hunter, tempo mage, token druid, even shaman, control and quest priest. Has anyone been playing a lot with this deck to shine some light on the subject?
Hey there. I have been playing 2 different types of recruit warrior since making it to legend this month. I played it because i only needed to craft the legendary weapon and because i really enjoyed big priest last season. First of all i don't recommend planning on playing the deck if you are trying to make legend because there are better decks out there. However i have had some really fun games with it. Especially playing rotface and warpath together :) i have tried the normal and even variant and i actually prefer the even one because most of the big guys are even(except ysera). And the 2 armor for one mana is so underrated. Although it does suck not to be able to play shield slam and brawl.
Can't speak for standard, although it does seem to be working pretty well.
In wild though it's about a high tier 3 deck.

Does anyone know if Samerebro's deck is still viable? Don't have the weapon but have thought about crafting it. Always loved sudden genesis for some reason and the idea of an OTK with Grommash and sudden sounds like a lot of fun.
I play this version in dumpster-legend. Actually quite decent success. The deck is quite difficult to manage, but once you get a hold of it I am around 55% WR.
I run double deadman hand version and it can out value most deck, except hunter. Lol because they have lots of single removal spell, freezing trap which denies you tempo when you cheat out the big guys, and most importantly the DK is infite value and they can craft something with rush and poison to kill our big guys, again
Well... I play control quest warrior and have a 76% winrate with it, 91% against odd rogues and 83% odd paladins so yea... Warrior is definitely a t2 class rn
