My first post here. I startet with HS with old gods but start playing it more since a few month. I am some kind of theocrafter and enjoy deck building including theme decks. I played MTG 20 years ago quite professional defining meta so i am some kind of gaming freak regulary playing board games.
While trying to find a use for Azalina i went to warrior (which i never playd much) and .. well the result was very diffrent but extreamly enjoyable so i want to share it for all true warriors out there :-).
Darius recruited an army to go on a fiery quest. While winning a brawl in a local inn he got the respect of the town captains and started to gather men. The town criers rushed through the streets calling for mercenaries to join. Berserkers, militia and sentries. From the nearby stony hills the defenders joined and since an army should have musicians pipers from the nearby woods joined bringing their snail pets with them. The town forges got lit forging blood razing blades and the kobold armorers crafted shiny armors. A local spellbreaker joined to have a trick more in the sleves.
Finally the marched down the warpath in rage executing their oposition bringing blood an fire to the battlefield.

This deck feels like a warrior. It brings carnage to the field and plays tactical. Be prepared to learn to use it. It´s not always straightforward. you can mak a lot of bad decisions. Be good at guessing what you oponent might do.
This deck brings Darius to the field very reliable (of cours it should, he is the leader). But muligan him ^^!
It is also quite cheap to craft. If it´s not good enough for the metagame it´s at least enjoyable.
The deck is basically slow but can pull of faster wins. I had a good number of T5-7 "oneshots" with berserkers :-). It breaks though tount walls very efficient.
I usually rip apart aggro decks. Cubelock is very tough and i struggle with aggro mage... It might struggle against decks that constantly pull out big guys. Against aggro mage the deck would need a bit healing or armor more so using rotten applebaum for a brawl might help. I usually get shot by the pyroblast ...
The deck easily draws empty and this before the oponent but i blew a lot of oponents after drawing the last card.
Hi, the deck name is very misleading. If you use any type of "quest" word, ppl expect either Questing Adventurer or the quest card for said class to be included in the deck and for it to play a major role in deck's strategy, since you chose that as a part of the deck's name. Might keep that in mind, just sayin :)
The deck perfeorms well. I look forward to optimize it and maybe someone has an idea for a joker card.
I tried Azalina but mostly she was useless :-/. I have troubles fighting aggro/tempo mages and cubelocks are always tough but that is expected being tier1 decks ... On the other side it performs well against all paladins, taunt druid and most aggro decks. It is about 50% against spiteful decks. Control priest and core rouge are also tough calls and i guess i am slighly negative agaisnt them.
So it has kind of this breakdown.
++ (near shure win)
+ (clearly positive)
Neutral: open match about 50%
- (slighly negative )
-- (mostly losses)
Paladins and general aggro decks (odd rouge, hunters, ...) ++
Taunt druid, Zoo: +
Spiteful decks: neutral
Cubelock, core rouge, control priest: -
Aggro Mage: --

it includes the quest card ^^. The base is taunt warrior. It is a mix of control and tempo warrior. :-)

Doesn´t matter and happes to me too :-). It´s a bit stroy deck that can get someone off track that it´s actually a useful deck too :-).
