Because we dont have something broken, like shotgun priest, jade druid, or even envole shaman. The only thing we can do is playing the value game with deadman hand, but it doesnt turn out as good as team 5 expected. But I can see really potential in this carD and we only need 1 or 2 broken mid range minion, a good weapon .a good value/board clear/removal spell and a legendary can act as a win condition then this deck will be broken as fcuk again
I would like to see balanced cards instead of broken ones. Balance shotgun priest and meta will be really good. Evolve shaman and jade druid are fine if you play proper tech cards(Geist or Dirty Rat). Playing vs priest is a pure gamble right now - If they get their raza/dk combo quickly - you are mostly dead.
I can agree only with druid.. jades are cancer but priest and mage are good matchups for control warrior in wild.. always putting 2x deathlord and 2x rat.. there is solid chance to tak their anthoidas, raza, lyra kazakus etc...
Guy suggested you to play Wild, and he is very right about it - Control Warrior is pretty decent there, not top tier but playable to at least Rank 5, both with Grom/Rotface/DK package and variant with N'Zoth - and you answered "How about no."? How about you learn some manners?
How.about.no but really though i didnt mean for it to come out so mean.I really dislike wild and really dont want to play it I should have put standard control warrior is dead in the title.

In Standard u can play n'zoth warrior also to rank 5. at least I did it. But what is the point of rank 5 ? Everybody can reach this with a bad deck. The point is that control warrior is just garbage since Justicar rotated out.

I recently watched Fibonacci stream about a week ago and he played his nzoth warrior at rank 10 and could barely for the hours he streamed make it into rank 9.I think this says how bad warrior is in standard right now.

What's the point of Rank 5? Well, above Rank 5 there is less than 2% of people in total of HS population, it's irrelevant for most people. Rank 5 is the goal for most people to get reward at the end of the month that is almost the same as reward for Legend rank, and some people want to do it with a deck they actually like, so as long as a deck can be used to Rank 5 within normal time it's good.
Rotation of Justicar is irrelevant (I don't even use it in Grom/Rot/DK CW in Wild), problem was the meta that came with the rotation: Mid Hunter that is the hardest counter becoming tier 1 with Call of the Wild, and complete absence of Freeze Mages that were CW's best matchup (~90% wr or so?). Later came Jade Druid and nerfs of some core CW cards (1st Exe, then Axe) and more factors that affected it. Justicar is nice, but even if you would return it to Standard it would change absolutely nothing at all.

How is Justicar rotation irrelevant ? :D That is simply the card that made Control Warrior viable. Gaining 4 armor is just too broken not to make an Impact. Freeze Mage was absent because of Control Warrior having Justicar. SO even if it was the best MatchUp u have never played it, because Freeze Mage was not played.
I don't think the decks dead ATM but it's not quite good enough to consistently compete with the top decks however I use it as I have every good warrior card and find it extremely rewarding to play
I don't believe control warrior is dead. However, fatigue warrior has truly been stumped. You no longer get to spam cool legendaries with the archetype but rather have to resort to shuffling your hand over and over and over. The skills required to play it went up but the fun went down.
Wild on the other hand is a very different issue. There are many many different forms of control warrior, all of which are viable! :)

It's a bit greedier list cos of current Wild meta (even teched in Geist vs Priests despite disagreeing with the whole idea of teching a card for ladder in general) so if you want to make it better vs Aggro I'd kick out Geist or/and Rag for maybe another Bash and maybe Belcher/2nd Bloodhoof Brave, or even 2nd Blood to Ichor. Atm meta is far from suitable for it, but 1x Grim Patron might be good at some point if less Priests are on ladder in the future.
And what wild rank did you make it to with this deck?
With deadman hand, CW is fine with value battle now. Summon two nzoth, two boom, two rag, put shit load of 6/9 taunt in your deck is ridiculous value wise. The problem is this deck need a broken all round card like UI. Damage, card draw and solid body all in one. Otherwise the deck feel too slow to play nowaday and other deck ussually can pull off very powerfull combo before you. I think the deck will have the OP tools next expansion, since Blizzard basically kill off aggro warrior with the axe nerf and seeing the players getting very angry and almóst nobody play Warrior in Standard, they will print something really good for CW to compensate for all this mess they created

Looks interesting, cheers. And nothing wrong with greed, lol, I play one with both Elises in it =))

Rank 5. I believe it would be possible to go to Legend if you played good, but it's really slow and not that great comparing to most other decks being played right now, I doubt you could get more than ~53-54% win rate with it over Rank 5, which is hardly enough given the deck speed. Anyways, to Rank 5 it should be fine if you really want to play Control Warrior.
I'd suggest trying some N'Zoth variant as well tho. probably slightly better than this!
And really, guy that recommended you Wild for CW was completely right, it's better than in Standard, there was no reason for you to be rude "How about no." What the hell with that...
I already addressed how did not mean to be rude.

Imagine if they made Rogue's Backstab cost 1 mana. That's what they did to Warrior.
Warrior needs a clear winning condition. atm its just doesnt have any good matchups vs Priest/Mage/Druid which all have a clear way to win the game.

As many said, Wild is the only place to play CW now. I run this list and it's pretty fun. Not sure about the fishes, might swap it for something else.
I, for one, do not miss armor up pass warrior.
Fuck cubelock
