Alright so for a little while now I've been tinkering with a standard deck that hasn't seen play in some time now. C'thun Warrior! It took me alot of theroy crafting but I think I grabbed a stable consistent version of the deck that can beat aggro and out value most control decks. It turns out Youthful Brewmaster is crazy strong in this deck as every battlecry is useful when used again. 40 armor from Ancient Shieldbearer sure! 3 Un'Goro Packs of course! Although there still are some cards going in and out of it here's the list I'm currently using. (Speacial mention to Gluttonous Ooze for eating Atiesh to crush control mage)
Doomcaller is the single flex spot in the deck atm and can be used to tech towards aggro or to play greedy vs other control. Any thoughts on the deck or substitiutions as it still is very early on in its play time but it seems like a strong counter meta pick against most things. (One last note in that this deck can't win vs quest warrior at all as the hero power is simply to strong for what we're doing)
First half of the deck is janky, second half lacks value. This deck will fight hard to control every single game.
No 1 drop and heavy reliance on grabbing the axe. If you're behind you're looking for Ravaging Ghoul. No way to come back until T5 and at that point you've given the ball back to your opponent. Bouncing minions only works well with low cost and for purpose that rewards you much earlier than T10. IE quest rogue. I understand you can bounce 2dmg back or armor, but there are better removal/value plays.
No midgame. Elise is poor value to date, 4/2 divine shield is weak in the token meta.
Endgame is better, but who are you facing then? Priest & Mage. So, heavy burn, secrets and heal-value. None of which you've got counters for. Apart from the Ooze.
Overall, its got its flaws, which rewards this kind of deck the T3 slot.
