I feel like most of the time when I lose is when the opponent ends up building a bigger board than me and gets taunt minions, so wouldn't Brawl be the best way to make a comeback against this?

Usually when your opponent builds a bigger board than you, you weren't meant to win that game anyway and you should just move on. Brawl would be a dead draw more often than not and would hinder you in the matchups you're supposed to win anyway.
