As the title says, I'm having trouble winning with my current control warrior deck. What can I do to make this better, or fix it? I'm open to suggestions, but the only legends that I have are basically included in this deck. I seem to be stuck in the 15-19 range and just keep gaining and losing those ranks. Thalnos was added to generate bigger whirlwinds but I think he's gotta go. Please let me know what I can do.
Well crafting any of the legends will take me a bit at this point, but you are suggesting replacing the reapers with those or is there something else to remove?
It kind of depends on what decks you're seeing. I was seeing a lot of zoo so I included Cleave in my list. I also threw Sludge Belcher in there for more valuable trades.
Honestly control warrior decks are the ones I've had to tweak the most. So, don't get discouraged! Just try some new things and take a mental note of what works and what doesn't.
There is no "perfect list" but I don't like bloodmage, to me the point of whirlwind is to draw 1 extra card off acolyte and potentially gain a lot of armor, while clearing minions or preparing them for execute (in a dream scenario). Against some aggro decks it can be used strictly for removal but in that case the chance of having Bloodmage + WW at the right time (first 3-4 turns) is low. Here is my list which has not been updated for the newest wing as I haven't had a chance to test. I will initially replace Gorehowl and Whirlwind to test 2x death bite and see how it goes. I assume you have naxx so you also need to get Loatheb in there, there is no reason not to run him, especially when you are missing other legendaries. I also think you need to find space for Sludge Belcher, he is amazing, opponents have to spend a lot resources to get through him.
It's hard to play control warrior without all the legendaries but ok replacements would probably be
Sunwalker x 2 for Sylvanas and Carine, Alex is kind of irreplaceable but some don't run him as he's kind of slow.
Hang in there, I think you learn a ton about the game by playing a control deck. Games are long so you learn a lot about all kinds of scenarios you find yourself in. It's not the most optimal deck for ranking up but is very powerful and learning to play it will pay dividends in the future.
Read explanations in deck link for some info. The power of control is not in the mid game pressure. It is the countless legendary cards the opponent has to chew through. Argent Commander/Azure Drake/Thalnos are all pressure cards when you want minions that will slow the tempo in your favor and pave the way for your big boys.
Frothing Berserkers are easy targets for most decks and will be dealt with immediately. Your card draw is also minimal with only 2 shield blocks. Acolyte of Pain/Armorsmiths in combo with WW and even taskmasters should make up your ideal early to mid game filling your hand with the cards you need to dictate the final 2 turns.
Who could whip me up a deck list that I should try!? Only requiremen. Would be to not include any legends that aren't in my original deck list. Different rares and epics are fine!
Keeping to your constraints, I would drop the Arcanite Reapers (you have too many weapons right now) for Loatheb and another Argent Commander. The second Commander should be upgraded to Ysera or Alexstrasza when you get another legend. The Thalnos is also pretty extraneous; I would replace it with a Slam for more removal and cycling. If you have Gorehowl, replace one of the other weapons with that (I'm not sure which, I haven't had time to play Warrior Control with Death's Bite yet).

I think you need more late-game pressure. Sylvanas Windrunner, Alexstrasza or Gorehowl might help. The Arcanite Reapers can be good but they're a bit overkill in this meta I think.

Frothing Berserker might be droppable for Kor'kron Elite, but if it's working for you, I wouldn't change it.

You do not have the legendary cards necessary to be effective at control in the lower ranks.
