I'm here again to hear some thoughts or strategy. What do you guys do when you're going against a Control Priest? Rumors said the meta now is Control Priest is like the only counter deck to Control Warriors. Especially with disgusting card like 'Entomb' stealing card and add to deck. So what's your strategy as a Control Warrior V.S Control Priest?
I used control warrior this season to get rank 5, and i can confirm there were 100% anti-control warrior priests out there.
My simple advice to beat them is to use the hero power advantage. Early Justicar is a must, and you need to discover if you are against the nzoth version, or the non-nzoth version.
The most effective card in your deck is elise starseeker. There are a lot of tools you wont use, so save them in your hand and try to win the fatigue game, because of all the armor you stacked. Also, they don´t have good finishers, so try to remove all minions with gorehowl, and don´t play the monkey before you execute and shild slam possible finishers. They can only remove 2 big minions and entomb other 2, so keep count on what they have on hand, just don´t be shy to make board pressure. Also, know your deck. They will toughsteal value minions, because your deck is full of them
My secret and MVP on my control warrior list, is nexus champion saraad. The card is just amazing. Priest´s can´t deal with 4 atack minions, and they lack board to remove him, so they need to emtomb them in order to keep the balance of hands. This make it possible to drop a Sylvannas, ragnaros, etc without them to be able to deal good with it most of the times. Also, useless spells = random legendaries from monkey.
I know this guide is not very well structured, but i realy don´t have the time to wrote a better one. Maybe in the next weeks i try to make a better guide and upload my teched deck. Also, criticize my english so i can improve myself. I hope i was helpfull

Well thank you for your thoughts and strategy.. Seems like what i've tried to play too usually against those priest. Sometimes it works but sometimes it doesnt, and sometimes i find that game results are just simply decided by the game rng.. and that really sux ;(
My strategy is to play the shittiest deck imaginable, so their Thoughtsteal, Shifting Shade etc. only give them crap cards. 100% winrate against priest.
As a priest player, i suppose that the best strategy againt priest is to play something on t1-t4. If you are playing zoolock, you can even press the concede button of your priest opponent
There is no general style of play, it depends entirely on the decks. Either you play for tempo and getting the Monkey fast, or you play for value and avoid drawing. Not all CW decks can pull off both win cons, and some priest decks are more vulnerable to one win con over the other.
If you run Gorehowl and can keep it from being removed, that's usually enough to take the value route.
Remember that these are advice for the current meta, new Priest will spam emotes while they steal your Cairne/Sylvanas/Ragnaros/Ysera with Cabal Shadow Priest.

Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!
Well, if you play C'thun you can sometimes set-up your C'thun to Otk them ;) Other than that the best way is to gain a lot of armor and then beat them i fatigue (don't use acolytes, and don't play out cards like Carine or Sylvanas as they'll just get entombed, and if they ever play The Golden Monkey you just remove the monkey and start playing your big minions.
Well it can be annoying playing against priest. Especially every turn you hesitate to play your strong minion as you afraid it might get stolen. Such a disgusting hobo hero using a player's minions to win LUL xD

My custom cards thread here (53 cards)

Also widely known as "Andrimus"

More controllish Dragon Warrior is probably the way to go. It is almost certain all priest will run the Dragonfire Potion.
Or perhaps a more aggressive dragon warrior to try and finish priest fast...

It's too early to say. It may be fun to theorycraft but until we know more of the cards being released, it's pretty much impossible to plan for.
