Is it a bad idea to have no slam or blood to ichor in control warior? I'm using a control dragon deck and want to replace slam with alexstrasza's champion. 2 mana 3/3 charge is just too good, even if you charge her to her death immediately.

Slam isn't mandatory in Control warrior, however Blood To Ichor should be in your deck, it's a cheap activator for execute, and usually spawns a 2/2, it can also ping off low health targets
Sounds fine to me. You lose the cycle potential/ability to hit through taunts, but you get an extra point of damage, and it can lead to more value over time which seems like a fair trade-off to me. If you play it early, you can also trick your opponent into thinking you're playing a more aggressive, tempo-oriented dragon warrior, which might give you a bit of an edge when they're more likely to overcommit to regain tempo only to be blown away by a timely Brawl.
I'm also firmly of the opinion that purely reactive control decks as a whole are just not nearly as viable as they used to be, as the game has changed for it to be much harder to come back from behind (https://tempostorm.com/articles/a-binary-metagame-part-1-constructed is a pretty good article on that topic). As such, I think having more tempo plays goes a long way in keeping control viable.

Apparently, Hearthpwn won't save your signature if it's empty.
Super common not to use Slam in cw; Shield Block and the fact that you're trying to run out of cards last are enough reason to not run Slam. Slam's best when you have lots of ways to deal a little damage, not cards like Brawl or Shield Slam.
Slam can cycle, is a ping for execute, and is another spell for Yogg. All the champion does is do one more damage, but at the expense of no card draw and doesn't ignore taunt. Seems not worth it to me.
I prefer having slam simply for the card draw, but again this goes back to the idea of what type of deck you are playing. If you find yourself running out of cards or need a combo to win typically you'll want slam for the card draw/cycle mechanic.
I like Slam simply because it's flexible in that it can help kill minions through combos, draw cards/cycle, or clear early game minions.
