It uses the demon synergy + the early power of the Zoo. It is a strong midrange deck... however it's not as strong as Zoo or Handlock in term of raw power. But it's pretty strong. Too draw dependent to be considered as consistent as the first archetypes... but it's a strong enough one to be considered as low Tier-2 deck. It'll win some games... it'll lose some... but it's a deck that is definetely something to be use when aggro is at thing in the meta.

I started with zoolock long time ago, that was the first deck i "netdecked" and i was amazed how well it perform.
About half year later i fully crafted handlock. And damn, that was SO MUCH FUN to play. It performs quite well too, but suffers from early rush decks like hunturds or mechmagetards. Definetly more fun to play than zoo.
I cant say anything about Demonlock because i dont have malganis. But the only Demonlock decks i saw was either Demon(zoo)lock or Demon(hand)lock. So its not really an archetype but 1 of 2 basis types with additional demons.
This is pretty much my experience with warlock as well lol, except I teched hard against hunter when I first started with handlock and it was pre-gvg so mech mage wasn't a thing. Demonlock actually has a 3rd midrange option besides Demonzoo or demon handlock but that midrange option is very difficult to pilot and the list requires regular changes so it's not quite fully optimized just yet. (I'm talking about the Vanquisher/muzzy demonlock or the one Dog used in a tournament and stuff)
I'm running something similar right now too, just a little more minion-heavy (including two Void Terrors, my new favorite card). It's extremely fun, competitive against almost every matchup, and very rewarding to play. Particularly against control decks, you get to a point where there are literally a dozen different plays you could make each turn. Every one is a little brain teaser!
It's been quite successful, too—I went as high as rank 125 legend (NA), although I'm down to 260-something now.
The 3 of them are pretty viable right now. i used to play handlock a lot bu got bored after a while and then i tried the demonlock and its really fun and very consistent too ( if u know how to play it). handlock is a control deck. Zoo is an aggro deck and demonlock a midrange deck, the 3 of them are good, just choose one according to your play style. My 2 cents :)
There are many warlock archetypes in the current meta and all of them are viable due to the hero power of the warlock. Handlock is always viable and with the addition of the dark bombs zombie chows and antique healbots handlock has gotten stronger and can fight back agaisnt aggro and control decks; also empero thaurissan has been a new weapon in the deck. Zoo is always good and has gotten also a good benefit from the brm adventure, the imp gang boss And also there are good mech zoo decks. Demonlock is also a viable deck with the voidcallers to summon jaraxxus and malganis earlier and gain tempo and also the imp gang boss has benefitted it. With the release of the blackrock mountain adventure a new archetype has been born. The dragonlock featuring malygos and a bunch of minions that get a buff from the dragons.
Yes it is. Glad to see you used my signature. But I ain't sure that Handlock (or Handlock with demons) is the strongest Warlock at this very moment. Zoo seems to be a lot stronger with the addition of Imp Gang Boss. I do believe that Handlock is one of the strongest control decks at any given time. It's probably one of the most stable decks to be honest.
Zoo is quite strong since many people are doing experiment with new BRM cards with new decks like Tempo FlameWaker Mage or Dragodin. Zoo is the best deck to punish new ''non-consistent'' decks since they'll often take board control and not give it back until being cleared by an AoE. For a zoo to have a bad start, they must really draw poorly, while Handlock can be screwed with some hands.
I would rate the Warlock archetypes as :
Zoo : Best one to ladder quickly until rank 5 (grinding stars)
Handlock : Best one to ladder from rank 5 to Legend (winning matchs against a more stable meta)
As for demonlock, the deck is pretty solid but it requires a pretty good understanding of the Mulligan pahse/matchups. Deck requires a bit of draw/combo to be exploit to it full potential. Still.. it is a pretty good deck, combining the strenght of the hero power of the Warlock (best in the game) with some crazy cards power.
I played my homebrew handlock deck with a mix of giants, demons and burst damage and took me from 19 that i fell cause i was trying zoo to 9 in no time. As you said,on the long run for the legend rank,i switch to classic handlock, cause from 9 to 5 it was much more difficult to play risky at the first 4,5,6 turns. But i do NOT aggree that zoo is best to grind to 5,at least for me.as i said,i fell from 13 to 19 in no time.

Rem, what is your Zoo deck? I've seen your Handlock deck but haven't seen your Zoo deck posted anywhere.
