The murloc meta got me thinking about Hungry Crab.
Do you guys think it has any use in ranked mode? I think maybe not because if you aren't playing a murloc deck it probably sucks but let me ask this question.. if you are in a tourney and you know they are running a murloc deck.. do you run 2 hungry crabs?

One can't hurt, if nothing else it becomes a 'step one: kill' maneuver, similarly to Lorewalker Cho and Secretkeeper. You can also hold it to instagib higher priority targets like Murloc Warleaders.
I don't know about you but I never get my Blood Imps early on... Or any other decent card for that matter.
EDIT: So first game, rogue has FoK on turn 3 and I have no blood imp or void walker.Second game same rogue, again he has FoK on turn 3. and again no blood imp or void. Third game a paladin who has Consecration on turn 4 and Avenging Wrath on turn 6. Fourth game another rogue, oh look I get my blood imp, voidwalker and priestess on the first turn. BUT WAIT he has deadly poison, backstab, eviscerate and combo's into perdition's blade, si:7 agent and 2 ringleaders...

The fuck kind of lucky draw is that.
Rogue decks have that ability to out tempo us with their ability cards. Shaman and Rogue are probably bad matchup for Beef Stew

Well unfortunately there are many rogues at my rank along with a lot of other warlocks, I've given up on this deck and gone back to Suicide Jaraxxus.
This deck has to be the worst to play against. You have to get insanely lucky card draw to beat it, 99 percent of the time you won't though. Besides that by turn 6 the lock usually has 6 murlocs out with 4+ health to which there is no good counter. I really hope blizzard whips out the nerf hammer for this one, it is overly popular and uncreative. Can't get past rank 13 because whenever I'm at 4 stars and about to advance I run into one of these idiots.
I am still seeing this deck quite a bit at rank 4 now, I have even won games with it myself. The thing is that it dies very easily to big taunts without soulfire/power overwhelming and if you are up against enemy minions + aoe you are pretty much dead unless you can throw up a taunt, double blood imps and a priestess for more health.
I was up against a paladin earlier and he used a coin consecration on turn 3, consecration on turn 4 and avenging wrath on turn 6... It works well against mages since they no longer run any aoe aside from flamestrike and also warrior, rogue, priest, hunter.
Murloc vs murloc is a very weird thing since you buff each other, basically the first guy to get out a Tidecaller and a taunt will probably win.
As for paladin, shaman and druid it depends on the cards they get. If they get their aoe cards early on and manage to get small minions up as well you will have a problem, especially against druid things get hard when they start dumping down taunts at turn 5+ and you have no soulfire or power overwhelming to take them down.
I've even lost to a rogue who used a thalnos FoK on turn 4, a lot of times it's just luck of the draw.
So the consensus is this is fun? I have been playing a Priest and don't want to stop but I have also been looking for a fun deck to break out when I get bored of the Priest. Does it make me a bad person for rocking the flavor of the week?
I went from Copper to Metal with this deck... Every person I fought was a Paladin, Shaman or Rogue. :S It feels like the meta i shifting against this deck.
Its so very fun to see your opponents getting snowballed by this deck :) Still very viable playing it at rank 4 atm and currently on a winstreak (not the ingame one but i won last 5 matches in a row)
Interesting that people are saying they have most trouble against control shaman and slow pally, which are the two decks I run and I often lose to this deck. If my two decks are your biggest challenge then you must slaughter all others!
Currently floating between rank 5-7 and I'm getting the "if you can't beat em..." idea..
I run this deck, but with Millhouse Manastorm instead of Soulfire. If Millhouse enters my hand turns 1 or 2, or drops in at a time my opponent is out of cards, he is absolutely awesome. Any other time he is a dead card. Even if he backfies, your opponent just wasted a big removal or buff. That's one less removal or buff you have to worry about later.
So far, it's worked quite well.

Things have been this way in the TCG/CCG scene for a looong time. Nothing new I'd say. :P
KenQ on NA.
made the deck and went from rank 13 to rank 9 right now with 7 win streak!
Here is a link to some gameplay of the deck.

I'm still undecided if I want to keep the Soulfire card or not.

Great deck very strong in the meta still I use it I love it very fun.
This is definitely one of the more lame flavor of the moment decks.

Just want to throw out a big fuck you to everyone who runs this deck.

I run this Deck because it's easy to make with the lack of Cards that I have.
