I hoarded enough dust for 1 legendary for my Handlock. It has all the other cards except 1 boost like Lord Jaraxxus or Alexstrasza. Since I started playing with handlock I don't run allot of other decks, so would it be better to get the Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion or a good neutral?
In control matchups you need jaraxxus to win the game most of the times. It is a must to exaust their removals early then use infernos to seal the game.
Alextrasza is not good in handlock, but I would agree with @Shariarr in his post. I think that was a good advice.
Yeah, Jaraxxus has won me allot of games already. Still need to determine a bit when to use him. Mainly because not only moltens become more difficult to drop but mountain also when not being able to tap.
I used to run both Alex and Jaraxxus in my handlock deck before I got two healbots. Alex is nice because you can combo her with molten giants at 10 health, and then Jaraxxus the next turn. And no one expects you to run both. It can be a little overkill though haha. I don't really like how moltens are unplayable after you Jaraxxus, but the infinite supply of 6/6s for 2 make up for it.
I agree with the current hand lock its much better to have jaraxxus and running both can also cause problems sometimes. I do miss the days when alex was consider better because your next turn involved leeroy power overhwheming to the face for 18 =)
I should never have dusted that golden Jaraxxus to make Rag. It's true that Rag won me a ton of games and I didn't play handlock back then but now it's impossible to craft the thing. I have 3200 dust, but if I make him I basically give up a legend of my choice and I'm missing Sylvannas and TBK. These first world problems... Oh, but on topic, don't make Alex- it's an awesome card but it has more bark than bite and doesn't set up a win.
Well, jaraxxus and alextrasza are unusable against decks like mechmage. Because the turn you play them, the opponent hits your face with minions and finishes you with a [insert fireball and frostbolt burst here].
They might make you win more versus traiditional aggro like zoo, but healbot kinda serves the same purpose and can be played with other cards like argus and sunfury. In slower matchups, ragnaros can be a thing because handlock already has 5 other bgh targets. You can run a jaraxxus/alextrasza in that slot too. But jaraxxus has a chance to be harrisoned, alextrasza can burst/heal but also it doesn't have a chance to effect the board like ragnaros. I'm not saying they are bad or inferior. I just proposed another option in that slot.

First of all, those cards were not meant to be used when there is a board that can kill you on the enemy side. If you managed to clear their board before reaching turn 9 (or 8 with the coin) then Alex or Jaraxxus are tremendous at giving you health back and putting pressure on the opponent.
Of course, if you did not clear their board, it's not the optimal play either of those minions. Jaraxxus can get Harrsionned... but the opponent will still draw 7 cards or so... and then you still have the enormous 6/6 Inferno token spawn each turn that is putting a lot of pressure onto the opponent.
You normally don't drop Jaraxxus when they are minions on the board. Jaraxxus is the ultimate game finisher for the control matchups, he was not designed to apply pressure to early aggro decks. You need to relieve the pressure from those decks... and then dropping Jaraxxus. Understanding of the matchup is key... not just whining about a card lol.

then Craft Sylvannas and Jarxxus, TBH TBK is not that useful outside of druid. In druid he's mndatory but in the other classes he's just a nice card. while Jaraxxus is an AMAZING card in handlock

If you want to play a handlock make Jaraxxus he is more viable in this deck
definitely jaraxxus
Thanks for the replies!
I decided to go with Lord Jaraxxus, so there will be another Eredar Lord on the ladder :)
Good choice! He speaks in CAPITALS :-D
The dragon is not really a staple handlock card.
Alexstrasza is the replacement for Jaraxxus if you don't have him. However, Jaraxxus is just the king of the late game.

Alexstrasza is definitely viable in handlock, I use it myself with Jaraxxus in a pretty good success. Of course, you should craft Jaraxxus first.

Just watch for Harrison which is currently popular, that ruins your day.

Caution: Steep Incline (Ramp Druid)

I used Harrison after my opponent Warlock summoned Jaraxxus. He promptly conceded.
Some decks prefer ragnaros instead of them, and they play 2 healbots instead. There are alternatives, just sayin.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
