Big warlock player. Apparently tickatus is like tier 2? yet it's a staple in literally every warlock deck now. I'm a huge warlock player, so I gotta know, is it worth crafting this thing? I felt it wasn't that big of a deal when it was announced becuase it did literally nothing on board and you couldn't play it until turn 7 at earliest w/ coin, but i mean apparently he's a big deal.
I've gotten to legend and climbed fairly consistently with it. The key is selling out the other 28 cards (other than Tickatus and Y'shaarj) all to stopping aggro.
You already have control and combo beat.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
It’s a really good card for control warlocks. Warlock finally has a class card as a win-condition. Useless vs aggro (6 mana 8/8) but its super oppressive in those control matchups. It’s a must craft if you enjoy playing control decks.
It auto-wins control matchups. Just tech for aggro!
The card itself is good and every Warlock that's not zoo will probably end up playing Tickatus. The issue itself is that Warlock is not on a good spot at all this expansion. Pure control Warlock is still not good enough. Tickatus, Cascading Disaster and Y'Sharjj are actually amazing tools for this sort of deck but it still needs more support to be able to keep up with the top dogs. Galakrond Warlock is slightly better and still runs this corrupt package but it still lacks the power to even be a "good" tier 3 deck.
If your question is if Tickatus is good, then yeah, he'll see play por sure until he rotates IF Warlock is decent enough. If not then no, Tickatus won't be very useful in that matter.
If you're a big Warlock player, then you probably should - it's a good card that is also kinda fun, and unique. I'm a big Warlock player too, and while i opened Tickatus in a pack, i would have crafted him anyway if I hadn't, the way i crafted Wilfred Fizzlebang for no earthly (or Azerothly) reason.

Warlock has recently been a reactive deck. The issue is right now, warrior does that better against aggressive decks. Warlock is the best anti-control deck right now and will be for as long as Tickatus is in standard. The galakrond warlock + corrupt package was created by me and I dont think that it is tier 3. Tier 2 is a safe bet.
Since it needs to be Corrupted first to get its ability you def. need to remain longer in the game. Free Admission can def. help picking it from your deck/activating it but it would need a very specific deck constellation to make Free Admission work also. Also Ring Matron works well with Free Admission (turn 3), Ring Matron (turn 4).
I'm carrying a solid 60% winrate deep into legend. There are plenty of aggro decks out there, but as I said earlier, the key is to just sell out as hard as possible against the aggro matchup. That means Firebreathers, Khartut Defenders, Dark Skies, School Spirits, and whatever else you can think of.
So far, this deck has been destroying the standard meta for me. I just think other versions are not focused enough on fighting the problem matchups.

Dont bother - I crafted some of the cards and wasted the dust. Its worthless. It loses to Spell Mage, anything fast and big Druid. Its a garbage deck because burning cards doesnt mean a god damned thing when the game has unlimited discovery and other shenanigans. It simply doesnt matter. So you burned five of their cards did you? Big effing deal. Trash tier. The ONLY wins you get are purely based on bad draws by your opponent. All those souls shards dont do a damned thing against large boards or high attack minions.
Depends on whether you enjoy causing pain more than high win-rate.
I use Tickatus, Strongman, Felosophy, and Y'Shaarj. Twisting nether to corrupt. The rest is about keeping board control and drawing cards until you get the win condition. A lucky Dark Portal can make your day.
PS: I usually regret crafting legendries. I would only suggest doing so if you've got dust to spare. However, I do feel like Tickatus opens up a world of possibilities if you want to double down and work on a deck.
Im not even warlock main and i crafted full warlock wild and standard collection.and i m f2p player.you as a main, are u seriously asking this?or are u trolling a bit?

don't craft anything, buy packs with real money till you get the card you want and win games due to blizzard awarding you with good rng.
oh the horror :D
Yes because you'll get a full dust refund at some point.

you mean the card that burn up to 10 of a 30 card deck?? yeah its worth it....... some designs are fun but seriously infuriating to play against
100% worth in my opinion...it’s going to be around for a long time and hopefully the meta will not be aggro forever lol :)
I was thinking about crafting him golden, but I opened him regular, so I crafted this
EU 11/2015+ , f2p 03/2021+: DK 63 / DH 205 /Dr 277 / Hu 733 / Ma 6666 / Pa 1072 / Pr 1165 / Ro 1791 / Sh 1303 / Wl 707 / Wr 664

Tickatus may be the reason why aggro will stay popular and control will have no chance to live...
Not for standard, not even close. It's a meme card, it was obvious that it'd be meme.
Its place is in wild renolock, where they can actually handle the aggro. And hell, they don't even Need it.
