I'm having good success eith this deck. Plot Twisting into the Aranasi/Soul Shards and having 2 Khartut Defenders can get you back up quickly. The win condition of the deck is to Rafam into free legendaries via the quest hero power
That looks ass. Sphere of Sapience in lock...pass. Questlock with few high cost cards inst that great. You should at least lorekeeper make sure you pull rafaam as soon as possible after quest complete.
Galakrond Warlock is one of the best decks in the format...but let's ignore that.
Not like I support the claim that lock as a whole is shit now, but I wonder, where does your conclusion come from? Because no data seems to support this really. Gala Lock is one of many playable archetypes. But to call it "one of the best" you'd require some evidence in numbers.
I'd rather have a weaker hero power and higher quality sets honestly, the power creep has reached a point where life tap just cant carry the class on its own anymore.
Its not very visible rn cuz Shaman is still the bottom class, but next rotation all Warlocks weaknesses will be super exposed: no zoolock, that deck became completely obsolete (aggro w/o weapons? LUL), no control lock cuz there are now 03 aggressive classes (Hunter, DH and Rogue) with lots of core burn/weapons.. what is Warlock supposed to play then?
Its more than just "current meta counters my class", Warlock actually lost its niche (dominant at the start of a rotation) and I dont see it finding another one w/o a rework..
Demon Hunter is so similar to Warlock that it steals all the cards it could potentially have they need to start giving the stronger cards to Warlock and weaker ones to demon hunter and class that is crazy strong with just Kayn Sunfury being the only legendary in the deck.
Which demon hunter cards would you want in warlock? (Aside from draw)
Some big demons to mesh with Archwitch Willow would be a good start. DH has multiple big demons that are wasted in the class.
just put Voidlord and Voidcaller into the classic set. problem solved lol

Vs report 170. Numbers are there. Also, free HS replay data gives it a 63% w/r [grain of salt b/c free HSreplay].
Vs puts Gala Lock and Control Lock together, what is actually not ideal. But let's say it's all Gala Lock, no problem. Then the deck is mid tier 2 - so exactly, what I said: playable, competitive, not one of the best. Also entire class is a mere 5,4% of the meta - with half of these 5 percent being Zoo alone. I would imagine one of the best decks of the format would have a bit bigger representation, don't you think?
Hsreplay - which actually does present Gala Lock as a separate archetype - gives it 48,57% WR and mid tier 3 position (22th overall place). I appreciate you probably took the best performing variant and quoted its win rates - but this is not the whole picture I am afraid. If you did the same thing with other archetypes, you would get similarly high numbers. Heck, even trash tier "No Minion Mage" apparently has a variant with over 62% WR :D

That report clearly shows Warlock has the worst representation across all ranks, even worse than Shaman, how about we DON'T ignore that?..
The reason is simple, the class became redundant: If I wanted to play aggro with demons, id play aggro DH, which doesnt roll over and die when it loses the board unlike zoolock. If I wanted to play a control deck that wins every control matchup but loses to aggro, id play Priest, never control lock.
This situation is not a one expansion only deal, the addition of DH and the Priest rework just straight up made Warlock irrelevant, thats what I want to cast some light on here.

Warlock is the only class that has 4 absolutelky different decks for standard: Galakrond, Quest, Hand and Zoo (which has at least 2 different sub-versions as well) and all of them are at least tier3-tier2. I see no reason to complain.

You just ignored every single argument and try defending your silly statement not using any evidence. Just stop. If you believe so strongly that the Gala Lock is so good, then good for you. But it's merely your unsupported opinion - fine - all evidence proves you wrong. You have right to have your opinion, but don't claim it is a supported statement, because you are just making yourself look silly. Especially if you get the evidence brought up to you clearly and you just decide to ignore it.

How is representation relevant to how strong a deck is?

Maybe because people aren't dumb and want to win, so they usually play the best decks competitively? Also it wasn't the only argument, in the previous post I explained in details, why the "evidence" you brought up is crap for your case and actually proves you wrong, but you just ignored it completely, instead focusing on just one aspect - representation.
Hell, if only you had a point on the representation thing! But no, here you are wrong too :D

Why would people not play it more regularly if it is that strong? 5% playrate is a very small representation for "one of the best decks in the format", dont you think?
You're basing your opinion on VS claim that galalock is a sleeper.. I love those guys but they are wrong on this one. Theres no reason to play galalock to counter druid and paladin when you can do the same with Priest and NOT autolose against any weapon deck. Galalock faints at the sight of any weapon, its hilariously bad against them all, not even double ooze can fix that.

*The Coldlight Seer is an error. It's actually a Siphon Soul. I'll corfect it later*

Nightshade Matron + Hand of Gul'dan is a borderline broken combo which carries Zoolock decks in both formats.

You bring up the VS report and then disregard what it says when it doesnt support your argument? Funny.
No.
"only" ....

Representation isn't the same thing as power level. But good try at changing the conversation.

Yeah there's fuck all Warlock can do when Rogue is Tier 1 may aswell delete the class tbh
hahaha that was funny dude ...
Btw Lesser Amethyst Spellstone was huge for Warlock, one of the best cards for the class they ever printed it will be forever missed.
