So what do you think about current Warlock power level? I briefly tested couple decks (demon control, gala control, handlock) and I have some very early insights (though I might be wrong):
He seems to be strong... up to 2018 standards, but lacks proper impact or "punch" to keep up with some other decks. In other words he's not unfair enough and can't cheat tons of mana like Priest, Druid, Paladin or Warrior.
Souls Shards are not very good nor consistent source of healing, so Nether Breath + Mo'arg Artificer and Dragon Pack still seem to be a must for any kind of control Warlock deck (not necessarily in midrange though).
So far I achieved best results with gala control, probably bacause it has the most value and pressure of all I've tested.
Apparent ZooLock is really strong and people are saying the soul fragment stuff isn't too great. I haven't see much Warlock but I'm beating them pretty easy.
Druid is gonna get nerfed.
Priest is defintely tier 1 Galakrond priest is still strong as ever and Illucia in aggro priest is pretty bonkers.
Troublemaker in Warrior needs a nerf I think the 3/3s it summons shouldn't randomly attack after its already a bunch of value by itself especially in arena.
Rogue secret passage and lorekeeper polket is making secret galakrond rogue tier 1
Demon hunter is ovbiously strong tempo demon hunter is still top tier.
I don't have much to say about the other classes but Libram Paladin is a challenge to go against.
Totem shaman is probably tier 1. Spell damage mage and shaman are good. I don't know how otk mage is doing .
face hunter is still annoying it's pretty much the only hunter deck I've seen have seen anything new from hunter yet.
How is Paladin doing? is Pure Paladin good or just hyped?
Pure Alura Paladin will end up tier 2 at least but I don't think to the nerf point. Druid on the other hand =)
My first game against the guy plays alura into the 0 mana spell lands the +8/8 buff card and then plays the mana minion that copies the highest stats for 2 11/14 minions on turn 5...
Druid will get 100% get nerfed. Overgrowth breath of dreams or lighting bloom are getting nerfed.
Like the deck is very highrolly but when it highrolls there is litterly nothing the opponent can do.
Hunter: probaly will still be tier 1 like always
Rogue: Might be tier 1 or high tier 2
DH: might be tier 1 or high tier 2
Paladin: pure paladin seems strong we need to wait how strong it will be.
Warlock: Zoo seems strong it will probaly be tier 2
Mage: idk
Priest: priest is still annoying to face
what about Warrior???
O yeah I forgot about warrior.
Looking at how strong the class was before the expansions and what they got in this expansion I wont be suprised warrior will still be tier 1 or high tier 2

Did you notice that on your list almost everything is either tier 1 or tier 2? :D
This is not how tiers work, my friend, no matter how strong you believe certain decks are - you can't split entire meta into just two tiers. If you think everything is busted... oh well, one busted thing is always more busted and this is how tiers are created.

Played a handful of games with a big, ripper style warrior and it's seemed good. You just need to get through the first 6 or so turns but once big stuff starts getting brought out it can be very difficult for them to deal with.
Played against a priest yesterday and they just ran out of steam and removal. My rattlegore made it from a 9/9 with divine shield and taunt due to being pulled by commencement to eventually getting silenced at 7/7 and all the time rips and other removal got used. Ripper bringing out copies and not simply summoning is massive. Same with Reaver, gives the deck some great value.
Troublemaker feels great so far. If 2 get pulled with ripper it can end the game fairly quickly and I'm very surprised by rattlegore. Great card to use and has been really useful on a few occasions. Has a great intro effect as well and hearing him shout 'rattlegore' everytime he comes back is very satisfying. Just a really cool idea for a card.
No idea if it will be competitive, I feel it may be a touch too slow but its fun to play, can snowball quickly and result in some big swings to come back from what looks like a certain loss.
Warrior, warlock and mage are my favourite classes. Had a blast with a casino style quest mage to begin with. Not tried warlock yet but I'll have a mess with it once I can drag myself away from warrior.
Please people, look where this topic is :). It's about Warlock, not other classes...
There's not much to talk about with Warlock and your title is a bit vague should of said "Early thoughts on Warlock"
It's inside Class Discussion >> Warlock for a reason, you know...I thought that people are smart enough to understand, that topic in "Warlock" board is about Warlock and it's not necessary to declare it with the appropriate title, but it seems I was wrong...

No 1 deck from all those classes can be.
Like Demon hunter , rogue, druid, priest have at least 1 tier 1 deck I think.
So, Warlock is like, OMEGA dead cuz Rogue just shits all over it even with double ooze, is there any hope? Any list that doesnt just roll over and die to rogue?

I got 2 lists that have done well both on ladder, and on this site:

But Galakrond Control Warlock did pretty good for me but it seems like a tier 3 deck.
I heard ZooLock was good but I don't know how good maybe tier 2 hopefully.

My early thoughts are only bad. I made 5 games yesterday and I closed the game. The game is still monotonous and boring.

They really need to do something about mountseller Druid generates so much value off of that card.

Shaman is literally fully dependent by rng.
..guys..this is a discussion in "Class Discussion - Warlock".
Either move the whole thing in "General Discussion" or focus on warlock.
PS: personally I do not think this thread can be "saved" so just talk to a mod to move the whole thing..
