I'm of two minds about this. I'm glad that not all Warlock players are playing Zoo. On the other hand, whenever I face a Warlock, I really hope he's playing Zoo, because it's so much easier to beat than Handlock.
Honestly I thought it was bullsh*t as well, until I opened Jaraxxus and crafted my last giant and started playing it.
It really is a fun deck to play, and the number of games that are close is astounding. I still have trouble against hunters, unless I get the ideal mulligan. Im also new to it, im currently debating on taking out soulfires, or going down to 1 watcher. I honestly think its rewarding, and will most likely be shaken up alot by the new meta once GvG comes out. I dont know if its that solid of a deck to live through such a shakeup, especially with new anti-handsize cards, and alot more tools for rush decks.
I feel like the issue about Handlock is that there's no really good way to Mulligan against them, because if you mulligan for handlock, you get Zoo, and vice versa. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I think the issue is that we're basically soo ingrained in every class basically having one deck that they play that when someone pulls out a 2nd type we're caught off guard.
wtf is this people hate and despise everythin, people hate ZOO,people hate Hunter, people hate deathrattle priest, now someone hates handlock, well dont play the fockin game then, seriously
How can you be mad at handlock in this meta, so much cancer and you chose to hate control handlock? Seriously, do you play priest full time? (if you didn't know, control priest gets brutally raped when facing handlock most of the time)
Also i`m kinda biased because you can probably see that i love handlock, its the only viable deck i like playing at the moment.
hunters and miracle rogue can easily beat handlock imo. I am very into priest and normal control priest tends to render before fight with handlock according to my experience. BTW, the voice when giants attack is very sexy...haha
really? i just found that rogue v.s. handlock is 50-50 game. rogue is not afraid of taunt and rogue has very high lethal, right? Although warlock has class skill to quickly get cards, rogue can collect enough damage very quickly also. To be honest, im very into handlock but i am not good at it. Will u frequently use class skill to increase hands at the beginning when vs rogue? i just found that it is very dangerous to be at about 15~20 health. any tip?
Handlocks are really hard to deal with - basically you need to be either aggro enough that you kill them before they can start putting up their taunted giants, or you need to be control enough that you can deal with taunted giants. If you're not on either extreme then you're screwed. But I find them not too bad because at least their decks are expensive and they are not as common as the cheap aggro decks.
At least handlock requires some level of skill to play, unlike hunter or zoo which is the equivalent of throwing your own shit at the screen while dumping your entire hand and mindlessly tapping your hero power.

I appreciate that theres a consistent counter to the cancer rush, but i play shaman and its just impossible to win with like only 1 hex in the top 20 cards, which always seems to happen
Handlock is amazing to play, my favorite deck by far currently besides miracle. But I can see it being frustrating being on the other side but honestly not as frustrating as vsing zoo/hunter srs.
Biggest problem with handlock is that it takes a big nerf post GvG because the meta will clearly be faster In addition, it seems Blizzard added anti-handlock cards to hobble the deck because it isn't terribly interactive. It isn't a fast deck and without a solid win rate it won't be a popular one either.

When I see turn two tap I feel like leaving the game. With all of the zoo and hunter running around it keeps handlock in check, but it's definitely the deck I hate playing the most.

It's control warlock...You can't be mad at a class playing control, then get mad at the same class playing aggro. Calm down.
Thanks FOO(The Banner God)!
Follow your own signature and everything will be ok. =D

Handlock is by far the most fun deck to play imo. Few other deck has the same level of complexity when it comes to decisions and game plan.
I also hated to play vs it as priest, but rather lose to a handlock then a hunter just mindlesdly hit face.
