Well, it's true, that we warlocks are about to lose our most powerful tools to the rotation, but I'm still optimistic. We will just have to run the good ol' big hand package again, which consists of Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant and Sunfury Protector. You can also bet, that Lord Jaraxxus is going to be included in my deck. Rafaam as well. Some people are underrating this legendary imho - look, transforming your reactive cards and techs into potentially big minions is always a plus. Of course the outcome is random, but this didn't hinder warriors and priests from running Elise Starseeker in their decks.
The only thing I fear are the following RoS decks - Control Wallet Warrior (using Hecklebot to pull my win-conditions and/or to bring me closer to fatigue) and Freeze Burn Mage (control mage doesn't have any sustain tools, but freeze mage got a huge minion - Kalecgos - and the deck will run Pyroblasts again).
A quick note about zoo - most of the cards aren't revealed yet, so we should expect something to synergise with imps/small tokens. Zoo will take a huge hit with that Doomguard HoF, but their HP can still carry them. If zoolock goes on the "board flooding" direction, then you can see Sea Giant and probably Demonbolt popping up more often.
I can't guarantee, that warlock won't become as bad as it once was back in JtU, but it's kinda silly to make such bold predictions w/o looking at the whole set.
U are understimating rafaam scheme i'll do some examples all with condition (u draw the card restarting hand 1st turn)
1. Every imp is considered a demon so... It makes this card a stronger version of (forbidden ritual? I forgot the name the 0 mana summon 1/1 minions for each active mana crystal u have when u cast in turn 5 can be really strong in zoo plays some utility examples?
2. A fun (maybe not competitive usage) u Play spirit of the Bat, have ziliax As last card in your hand... (or any good card that can benefit the buff instantly like leeroy (doomguard removed :( but well leeroy is okay) boom next turn your opponent will probably cleaner the board and u going to get +6+6 ziliax or leeroy that means 9 intant Healing with ziliax and also a good body i mean it's a 9/8 that's scary or instant finisher combo with leeroy for 12 damage it's 1/3 + 2hp of enemy total hp...
3. And then the competitive usage we are going to see 100% knife juggler + scheme turn 5 combo if u got the scheme in the starting hand u are going to get 6 instant damage , a full board, and Force your opponent to use a spell or An Aoe battlecry to clear It
4. And As last thing if they add a board demon buff card this expansion or next expansions this card is going to be one of the most op zoo warlock cards of all Times so i think u understimated It a lot just think about the synergy It has with It's really low mana cost i can imagine more than 10 synergies some REALLY REALLY strong
With the rotation lots of bad legendaries rotate out
controlock is here

Less than 50 wins away from gold warlock, but f--king boring aggro is not the way I want to play warlock. Bertug seems like the lonely control lock card.
Going to miss Rin, Gnomeferatu, Howlfiend-Treachery-Defile combo, Voidlord and the death knight. That brief moment in Kobolds era where aggro decks died was glorious.

Rafaam is amazing for control lock! Same with plot twist

Fel Lord Betrug + Plot Twist is really powerful! A few okayish controlish minions with deathrattle or lifesteal and there you have your 'new' Control Warlock! The Glinda + Baleful Banker combo still exists, you never take fatigue and Warlock still has a bunch of AoE effects and a few good single target removal. Only needs a few taunts and healing.
Well this thread aged well. Control and Handlock is dead
But zoolock stronk
Zoo was always strong, at least tier 2. However Warlock is a traditionally a control class with his respective board clears and hero power. Blizzard want to kill that aspect of class appareantly. Also zoo does not fit with class identity at all, this is a class that has a 8 mana board clear and a classic hero card but blizzard just gives other classes good cards while Warlock always gets shit.
Also control warlock is probably has the highest skill cap with the old miracle rogue

Well, a lot of this thread consists of people telling OP he is wrong.

I find such threads so amusing... Hadn't OP noticed that not all cards were revealed? 1-2 broken cards (may be even common) and everything changes
zoo lives forever control lock has no hope in standard though.
Play Wild.
More seriously (but i was already quite enough):
1) more cards are coming wtf?!?
2) Standard is not meant to grant the same quality to every class in each expansion. Never was. Deal with it.

I think zoo might be a thing

Zoo always be a thing because blizzard likes to create OP early game minions and with the warlock hero power you won't run out of cards easily
