To all controllock lovers out there you should try this card! It's weird that i have seen no deck using it. Controllock has all the tools to consistently reach turn 10 in a healthy condition and easily set counter lethals against smorcs.
Ok, I'm going to try this deck right now. I don't have Omega Agent, neither the dust to craft it... I suppose it's time to disenchant some golden cards then. :P
I use them in my controllock and i have to agree, they are doing a pretty good Job! Also it seems as lock is the only class with viable control-decks right now, since it's the only class that can beat all those combo-decks AND aggro. Tried control-warrior, got destroyed by so many mecha'thuns, so i switched to warlock and let me tell you, my opponent conceiding after i transformed his mecha'thun/malygos/pork into some random demon makes me sooooo happy!
OMG, wait... Did you hit legend again with this deck too? LOL, how many times have you hitted legend with self made decks? :P Cogratz again jainaishot, hehe. Upvoted! :D
I also like to play warlock never bothered but got Godfrey recently out of a pack. Is it worth to spend lots of dust to play Warlock? Always had a love for Control like Priest and Warrior. It seems so fun to play although i dont have a big Warlock collection, what u think?
From powerlevel's prerspective, controllock is great and probably the best counter to zoo and combo decks. Buut i am not sure you will like it. You see controllock (and especially this list) is not as safe as control priest or warrior, you are more active(with tapping and self harm) and you take more risks in order to win. There will be many instances where you give your opponent the chance to find lethal in order to secure counter lethal on your next turn.

Mmm, good question...Skull of manari can seal games against smorcs by its own. You can modify the deck by making it more defensive but you will have to change at least 3 to 4 cards to do it. If you are not exprerienced with warlock i would say it's not worth it.
But I'm still skeptical about the agents. What if I use the LK? Wouldn't that be better in many situations?
Reasons:
- has taunt - can be played earlier than turn 10 (so can the agents, but they are understated) - with a bit of luck, I can get good DK cards (Death Grip against combo, Death Coil as heal/removal, Anti-Magic Shell, Death and Decay and/or Frostmourne for more pressure)

Yes sure lich king is a great card on it's own, taunt is definitely a plus and value-wise he is hard to beat, but from what i experienced the agents are better for pressuring your opponent, since it is harder for most classes to deal 5 dmg aoe than clearing one big minion. Plus you put 12dmg on the board instead of 8, so the immediate threat is higher. Overall i think lich king is still the better card, but in certain situations the agents can seal the deal. Plus it is always fun to experiment with new cards :)

-The lich king is 8/8 while the omega agent is 12/15 across 3 bodies
-The lich king is weak to single target removal and silence
-The f*cing douche always gives me dead cards.Aka rng dependant.
-MOST IMPORTANTLY Lich king costs 8 mana which means the entire round while the agents cost 5 Mana. This allows you to play aoe, taunts or remove a threat.
Totally agree. I have been using 2 in Control Mage. Its perfect for control decks. Not bad in turn 4 if playing against agro, and high value in end game. Great card overall.

Yes, I don't disagree on this point. I also said in somewhere in the card reveal thread, that this card alone forces the opponent to use a big board clear. And if you bait a board clear only with one single card and preserve your future threats, then gg. So I don't disagree, that this is a very strong card versus control (and also against priest due to its 4-attack). But I personally don't like it in this meta and, Jaina, I disagree on your point, that the counter-pressure is very important against aggro :
Omega Agent: This card is effective against both control and aggro. Yeah you heard me right. This can easily set up counter lethals. Most of the smorcers do not care about their hp. So if you stall till turn 10, it's gg. Most of the control decks i have seen make the mistake of prollonging the game by just surving, giving the opponent the time to find lethal or contest the board again. You have to remember that all modern aggro decks can create threating boards almost indefinately. One of the most effective combos against smorcs is Omega Agent +Giggling Inventor.
I'm one of those ppl, who prefers to win against aggro by clearing their board, playing Voidlords and then the DK as the final nail in the coffin. In some situations I will lose the games if I don't set counter lethals, but from experience I usually win my games just by shutting my opponent down. And I don't think the Omega Agents are that attractive there. They are great past turn 10, but if I made it so far, I have probably already won. Against combo - normally I prefer the giants, as they can be played as early as turn 4 or 5. True, my opponents can still answer them (either with a Hex or a Naturalize), but imho this is way better than waiting until turn 10 and giving them enough time to find their combo pieces (especially druids and their fuckton of ramp and draw). Now it's the time for me to confess, that I don't run any giants in my decks, as I prefer to run two Demonic Projects and to time them correctly, but I just wanted to say that it's not a good idea to give your opponent enough time to find their shit.
How can you silence an agent, if there's nothing in it to silence?
Look, I expected you to write those points. I'm aware of his flaws in comparison to the agents. But that's why I would play a bit differently if I run him in my decks. Yes, I can't use a removal and follow up with a LK on the same turn, but I will play the removal, then a Doomsayer and lastly I'll spam that fucker. Or I'll probably do something else depending on the board state. Or maybe the LK wasn't the best example.
I also said, that this can be played before turn 10. True, Omega agent can be played even on turn 5 and probably trade into a minion or two, but I prefer to have 1 weak card in my hand than 2 against aggro.
Look, mate, I'm not disregarding your deck building skills, nor the originality you put in the deck. I didn't pack those agents, so I'm not talking from first hand, but imho some cards feel unfitting. In the past I have agreed with your card inclusions, but now I would prefer something else than the agents.
[edit] At least while the meta is still relatively aggressive. If it becomes slower or if control decks become more popular, then you will have my salutations for proving the whole community wrong and advising us to try this hidden gem.

Yeah if you have guldan on turn 10 that is. The "if you reach turn 10 against aggro, you won" argument is not true anymore. All modern tier 1 aggro decks can make it past turn 10 nowdays easily. If you have gul'dan and voidlords have already been drawn and played then that's great. But what if all those 3 cards are at the bottom of deck? Or just gul'dan for that matter. Omega agents offer an alternative and extra win condition.
How can you silence an agent, if there's nothing in it to silence.

There is simply a difference in taste mate. You seem to like the safer builds that want to outlast everything, i prefer more explosive builds that can turn the game and set lethals out of nowhere. I won't be offended by a different opinion, especially of one who i respect.

Likewise. :)
Look, I really understand the purpose of those Agents. I also think, that this counter-play is a nice strategy. In the past I ran Corridor Creeper in my control decks for the same reason. I was just skeptical about their viability. But yeah, you have a point. We both have different tastes and we are comfortable with our own play-styles. I remember back in KoFT how I built a defensive, cuddly control warlock and then I saw your list running Mountain Giants, the LK and what not and I remember saying to myself - Wow, this guy likes it hardcore.

I have seen this statement before. So what? Not all aggro decks have an access to card draw and if I play correctly, the opponent's pressure becomes weaker the more I prolong the game. If I'm low on health, then of course my opponent will stay in the game, in order to find the last bit of burst. But as you already know, in the late game we can bring the big toys into play and this is where Twisting Nether or Lord Godfrey are all I need. Not to mention, that I run a lot of taunts in my deck (+ additional ones from Stonehill Defender), so it's super unlikely not to find something at this point of the game.
It has been a long time since I don't have so much fun playing with a Control Deck, but I'm a bit worried about this deck power level since it seems to counter almost anything in the hands of an experienced player. Like seriously, it seems too powerful to me. Have you created a new cancer jainaishot? LOL.
Ok, ok, let's wait for the meta to settle before drawing conclusions. :P

The first game I lost with this deck was against an Even Warlock because of a missplay involving Omega Agents (which is very funny, considering they are the highlight of the deck :P), but once you start to learn to master it, you become almost unstoppable. You also start to realize how powerful are two copies of this 5 mana card is in the late game: they create another two waves of threats the opponent has to deal with for a low mana cost, and many times, they run out of resources to do that. And yeah, The Lich King is a powerful card to consider running instead of an Omega Agent, but it's more expensive and it's usually much easier for the opponent to deal with it.
I’ve been playing nothing but Whizbang since release (currently rank 3), and one of its most powerful decks is the Controlock, which includes the four Omega cards. Not convinced by the taunt, but the Agent, definitely.
Kind Sir, you have my utmost respect!

I will try when I get the card. I have played it in a Tess deck when I got it from Espionage. I waited till turn 10 to play it as well.
I'm too busy with my 4 new rogue decks right now.
the new Deathrattle stuff has turned out to be quite awesome. Necrium vial on cube is a bit OP.
