What do you think Warlock is going to get for the rest of their set?
We still have both Legendaries to be revealed, as well as all but 2 of the rest of the cards as well.
I am hoping that we can get some more control tools, and possibly even more anti combo stuff to help deal with the powerhouse that is Druid.
I'd be interested to know what you guys think the warlock cards could be. I know you guys are usually pretty good at guessing what we're gonna get, so lay it on me. ha ha.
Haha finally a non-druid thread! Seriously there are so many of them...
I hope warlock will get some more control tools and maybe some “end of turn” synergies, I believe that would be amazing.
I am not hoping for self damage theme. It would maybe be cool to see some odd warlock instead.
yeah dude. I am hoping to see control options and any tech we can get to mess with combo decks (although we already got one card)
I am really drawing a blank so far though as they haven't really thrown us any bones.
I really don't know what to think of our omega project card till I see it in action. it might be good in a handlock style deck or one of my glinda/meat wagon tempo decks or something. I mean getting the card out cheaper with a portal as well, or being able to echo it might be great. if you have glinda on the board and played it twice at turn 10 you could fill the board. It will take some refining as it might end up you just waste a bunch of mana, but we could use the rest of the mana for healing and removal and such.
I think the omega card will definitely see some play somewhere.
5 mana, discard your highest opponent's minion in their hand. It's basically Assassination, except it goes through your hand and destroys most valuable minion. Am I that good?
Joking, I think it's really hard to guess, look at their WW cards for example, Warlock gets weird cards. But this time, they do sure follow the meta of it, see Juicy Psychmelon, Blizzard knows what Druid needs (aside from being salty, this is true as they get their combo pieces).
I hope Warlock will get some cool cards. Maybe an actual good 3-drop? I missed that Imp Gang Boss so much...

ha ha, that would be too OP :D
yeah dude. I just hope we get some good cards. I don't want to see more self damaging cards, although 1 wouldn't hurt in order to further make spellstone viable.
Maybe some other discard card like the imp we lost would be great as we still have loads of disco cards in rotation. something like this for a disco zoo again would be nice.
I remember when KoFT was just around the corner, I wished for "more demon synergies for the demon class" , as well as more healing. Keep in mind, that warlock was absent from the ladder back in Un'Goro; we lost many cards after the rotation. In KoFT we got Bloodreaver Gul'dan (+ Defile) and in K&C - Lesser Amethyst Spellstone, Dark Pact, as well as more support for the DK.
So I personally can't think of something else we might need right now. Maybe another healing card or another mid-game demon???
inb4 I really liked the design of Glinda Crowskin. Even though she wasn't played much, she opened many possibilities for different combos and it was a joy using her on the ladder. I kinda wish we see more cool designs in the future (not only for warlock, of course).
One last thing - even though warlock is my favourite class, I really despise seeing cheesy cards/strategies, mainly the ones we got in K&C. Dunno for you guys, but it saddened me seeing so many people hating on warlock because of the existence of turns like playing a 5 mana Possessed Lackey, followed by a Dark Pact into a Voidlord against fast decks. For me it wasn't normal making a greedy play against fast decks and not being punished for it. There is a reason why big priest is so oppressive - it all depends if you find Barnes before turn 4 and if you get to overwhelm the opponent with lots of stats, before they can respond to them adequately. So all I wish are fair cards. Let them be strong, we also have to receive some kind of tuning this expansion, in order to stay competitive, but I want less cheesy tactics. I don't want to leave my opponent with a bad taste in their mouth.
I'm not against there being some vanilla tech, but I'm sure someone said that they were going to focus certain techs on certain classes. That's why I'm thinking the Warlock stuff might be flavourful (like how the rogue stuff all seems to fit together.. in fact now we have that elekk card as well that further builds synergy there too)
My prediction from looking at the art of the upcoming card reveals is that the warlock legendary will be announced tomorrow and it's going to be Mecha Cthun

I was hoping this as well. But thought it may have been a vanilla card as c'thun isn't a demon, it's a god.

control lock has a winrate of around 40% which puts it in the tier 3 or 4 region. With all the aggro decks it should be top dog.
there is some serious imbalance to the rock paper scissors format right now and the only way they can prop up warlock is far as I'm concerned is to make it the defacto combo buster. (given that we already have some tools for it in howlfiend/treachery and gnomeferatu) they have already announced 1 tech card as well. It also makes sense as to why they held off telling us about warlock till later... as it's going to be the final piece to the puzzle. All the other stuff will cease to seem as OP once the combo buster cards are announced.
control lock hasn't been on top for a long time, no one plays cubelock any more and there will always be a zoo deck that's goo ass long as there are cheap cards to add.
They already said we're not getting vanilla tech and it will all go into one class this time, so my money is on warlock.
I too love Glinda and had lots of fun playing her in my own decks. it's not really competitive though. I mean yeah it is when it works, but all the times it doesn't work just leaves you dead before you get a chance to do anything.
Unless they go full gimmick on warlock again, I think they're going to add more tech and control based cards personally.

I like elementals and totems.
I hope warlock receive much more and broken tech cards vs druids and shudders so good that erradicate that decks out of existence forever...
If not we doomed.
ha ha, that would be too OP :D

ha ha, I agree.
I'm hoping that warlock is the final piece to the meta puzzle.
Some players seem very high, yes! :D
Ha Ha! :D
Not bad but maybe a 2 manas priest spell "Steal a 9 manas cost minion from opponent deck or hand" will be better.
Why warlocks? Wouldn't it be better to get neutral techs? Something, something - a different version of Dirty Rat?
I would love a good 3 Drop Demon.
^ Basically this.

I hope we get some nice commons or rares because our legendaries are pretty mediocre/trash
