I have most cards needed for a pretty decent Cubelock, other than the Carnivorous Cube. Should I spend the 800 dust, or wait to see if (or how bad) they get nerfed in a few weeks?
I don't need to play the same deck as everyone else, so waiting is fine. But since my current control warlock isn't as good as before, I'd like to give it a try.

Well, this is the safest time for crafting some cards since the nerfs are right on the corner. I crafted a couple of Corridor Creeper myself because if they're nerfed on the next couple weeks I'll have my refund, and if they remain untouched(which is unlikely) I'll have two OP OP cards for the 20-10 grinding \o/
I’d craft one and see how it plays, Carnivorous Cube can sit in the hand for a while so 2 copies might end up being too many anyways. Careful assuming you’ll get the dust back, Blizzard could always decide to nerf a different part of the deck or just not nerf it at all.
i agree. there is a chance it gets nerfed (although unlikely) but the fact that it is neutral lends to some really interesting deck building in most classes. I've used them successfully in paladin, hunter, priest, and warlock so far.

That's the point, if they don't nerf it at all is a good investment. And if they nerf other part of the deck the card ull remain the same and then you can use it as it is... the worse it can gets is the need to find other home for the card, but it won't be a complete dust waste.
I see what you're saying, I'd just hate for OP to spend 800 dust and then have Doomguard get HOF'd or something, leaving Cube without a clear place in the meta. Nobody really knows what the meta will looks like after the patch so we should all exercise caution or at least be aware of the potential repercussions!
Just craft it. Cubelock is not losing a single main engine card during standard rotation and if it gets nerfed, you get the full 800 dust you invested into them back as a refund. With the entire Raza Priest engine moving to wild and other major archetypes such as Dragon Priest and Big Priest suffering huge losses (Drakonid Operative and Barnes), and Mage poised to lose Firelands Portal and Kabal Crystal Runner, Cubelock is going to be indirectly buffed by making gains on two of it's worst matchups.
If you only miss 800 dust to craft one of the strongest meta decks, I see no reason not to. 800 dust is spare change compared to the cost of a full deck.
Cube is a powerful card with a unique interaction. A must have for warlock players, and a great compliment for your collection even if you don't play warlock. There isn't really a downside to crafting it unless you are looking at a legendary.
I'd wait. None of the individual cards in cube lock are op. It is the high level of synergy that is strong.
If they nerf call to arms and corridor creeper then they might nerf void lord or something and leave cube stranded as an unused card but no dust refund.

Cubelock has been a terribly performing deck for me. But then again I mostly queue into Raza priest. I think it's a bit overrated though.

Even if Warlock dies after the patch the Cube will eventually find home in another decks, as that Hunter in the front page shows.
Feels wise to craft one to see how it works for you then figure out if it's worth 1) to craft another, 2) to keep playing with just one or 3) dust it.
