Hello, all! I've had this deck for years, ever since Mal'Ganis was printed, in the hopes of having something pretty close to a full-on demon deck. The fun factor and flavor in including cards I love dearly like Mistress of Pain, Kabal Trafficker and Rin, the First Disciple is super important to me, to the point where it might have impeded on the deck's viability.
Over the years, I've made plenty of changes and tweaks, then completely overhauled it when Reno Jackson came around. Unfortunately, as proud of this deck as I am flavor and fun-wise, I feel like it's been a bit too butchered since the GvG glory days and isn't really winning me much. In fact, I just dropped from Wild Rank 14 down to 18 while playing it earlier.
I'm coming to my fellow intellectuals here on the Warlock forum to ask for advice in tinkering this deck. What exactly is going on here? Is the curve too high? Do I not have a clearly defined win condition? Do I just suck at deckbuilding?
Def too High curve. Needs more early game. And you can cut alot of cards like jaraxxus since He is unplayable this meta. More to cut: Kabal trifficker, sense demons, Elise and Maybe skull of manari. Use the new voidlord if you will use skull tho i think. Maybe put in 2 mana 2/4 Demon taunt as well. Basically you need more early game to combat aggro and priests. I dont have time to write more. But this is the gist you Get for now
Since it's a bit of a meme deck, the OP will need to decide for himself about the balance between viability and theme. As it stands, the deck barely runs anything prior to turn four - if I counted correctly, there are only four cheap minions available for the early game. A little bit of math suggests that almost half the time, the deck won't play its first minion until turn four. The new set gave Warlock a couple of very good early game minions - Kobold Librarian and Vulgar Homunculus - and I think they both should find a place in the deck. Voidlord and Lesser Amethyst Spellstone also make a lot of sense.
I'd suggest that the OP should visit HSReplays - type the name of the cards in the deck, hit the "Warlock" and "Wild" filters, and see which ones are underperforming on ladder. Remove them and add the good ones. For example - Elise Starseeker, Hooked Reaver and Sense Demons each have very low "win-rates when played," while Voidlord and Brann Bronzebeard have much better stats.
You got some serious anti-synergies there, like weapon and Lord J/Rin. Not seeing a point in OG Elise as well. So yeah, as others mentioned - way to greedy.

GOOD IDEA
It's a cool concept for a deck.
Man i wish i wasn't poor so i could try this :^c
Don't Rin's little demons play against your Demon resurrection cards?
Starseeker also looks extremely anti-synergic.
Jaraxxus also seems nearly useless, since you do not need his low survival, nor his lategame (you have better threats).
Have you considered the new Amethist package for early game?
