I don't think Control warlocks HAVE to craft her, but I think she has a place in the deck. She is bad, but not useless against aggro and if you get her at the right time, she is okay as an additional clock to pressure non-warlock Combo and Control Decks. But where she really shines is against the Carnivorous Cube + Void Lord + N'Zoth + Gul'Dan Decks, especially if you yourself are running such a deck.

In one card it, gives you a lot of value and most of all, a proactive thing to do while all those Void Lords and Walkers do nothing against each other. A Proactive thing that offers an avenue of attack that by passes all those near infinite Taunts by putting your opponent into Fatigue ahead of you.

I would not necessarily craft her, but I would try to have some plan to overcome the infinite wall of Taunts that Control Warlocks can put up nowadays. And having some proactive plan for winning those games is propably a good idea. Like some silences for Rin and the Cubes with some threats that generate extra value like Ysera and/or Elise.

Since many Warlock decks seem to cut a Siphon and a Twisting Nether, Ysera might have a decent chance of actually sticking around for a couple of turns.

Why take 7+ turns when you can just run something mindless like Exodia mage or Spellstone shaman or even Highlander priest?

Even if by some miracle you're playing against a deck so slow that allows you to summon Azari, how much of their deck is going to be left at that point?

The reason why rin is decent is because it's a 1 card win condition that's also not complete garbage against aggro. Often times that's a problem with more expensive win-cons like c'thun or n'zoth, you just know they're gonna sit in your hand doing nothing if most matches end before turn 10. If it didn't have taunt, I'd wager it would be a lot more risky to play it.

But to answer your question, I'd maybe hold off on crafting it just a couple weeks more to see how the meta shapes up and try playing double stonehill defender. Warlock has a couple of decent class taunts (voidwalker, homunculus and tar lurker are decent against aggro, rin and voidlord against control) and there's also a few good neutral ones like tar creeper, lich king, sleepy dragon etc.

Perfectly acceptable, surprisingly much more playable than I originally anticipated. It can be a one card wincon against other control decks.

I love playing this card. Rin hasn't gotten me terribly far on the ladder, but man, it is satisfying every time you get to destroy a deck. 

I don't think I would have crafted it, but I opened one up. Warlock isn't one of my main classes, but I've been having a lot of fun playing it a lot since the expansion and opening Rin. With some decent card draw options, I've been able to get her early enough to play on turn 6.  Once you get to 10 mana, you can play 2 seals at once, depending on how much you need to play defense against what is on the board, and it escalates quickly from there. And once you start playing seals, your opponent might change their gameplan to try and force you to play more defensive moves, to stop you from playing your seals. I've been able to summon Azari, the Devourer a bunch of times, although certainly been thwarted by Potion of Polymorph. A Big Priest still managed to kill me by taking out Azari with a Shadow Word: Death and moving quickly after that.

My most satisfying win against a Valeera the Hollow who had Shadowstep, Vilespine Slayer, and Edwin VanCleef, because it was neck-in-neck until the very end, even after I destroyed her deck. When she was finally about to die from fatigue, she played Sprint. My friend, who does not play Hearthstone, was watching and said, "If you had done that to my deck, I would have gone out that way, too."  :D

I haven't played to many games with her, something like 20-25 games, and it was helpfull against big spell mage twice, miracle rogue with his infinite dagger and once against BIG priest. Not so much archetypes actually... Razakus now are running dragons and you had play aggressively against him now, against jades it is nearly no sense, because when you will destroy his deck his golems will be 11/11+ and he will sure have some single idol in hand.

So I wouldn't say this card is so useful, but anyway it is additional wincondition against few archetypes and overall fun card to play. At least I don't regret I crafted her

As others have said, she's 100% necessary in Control Warlock.

You will NOT beat other Control decks if you don't use her, barring obscene luck.

With the seals, having Arcane Tyrant in the deck (or Medivh, the Guardian) can greatly help offset the tempo loss from popping seals.

And both cards are ones you should be running in Control Warlock anyway.
