I seen a deck on here that I really liked the idea of, I was thinking of crafting N'zoth to build it, but I'm really just not sure how well it will fair in the current meta and beyond. here is the initial deck I was looking at.
I really like the idea, and I've been looking for a way to use the Devilsaur/Pterrodax combo in something.
Really hope some of you control guys can shed some light on this for me... should I do something like this, or are there better control warlocks I can build instead?
I played something like this not long ago. I really like Egg combos and i think Egg is one of the biggest sleepers in standard right now so even if you can't make this competitive at the moment, don't abandon the idea because it will be strong soon TM.
As far as your deck's overall viability, this isn't that great for ladder. For one thing, you have some slow operations going on like Marin and Tomb Lurker.
If you're looking for control warlock I think demons is the best way to go with Gul'Dan DK as the centerpiece. That deck is a solid tier 2 and should be getting a buff with the new cards coming out. Voidlord looks like a very strong difficult to deal with demon and it definitely wont be the only one yet to be spoiled. It may be too expensive to be played but Bane of Doom is looking better and better.
You will be crushed for any tempo deck most of the time and your win condition is slow to make pressure fast enough vs Exodia Mage, Highlander Priest or Jade Druid.

It is a dark time for control players...
thanks guys. maybe I will wait till the new meta and see how it's doing then. when I seen the voidcaller card reveal today it instantly made me think of this deck again, it could be great.
I really wouldn't craft anything when there is just 2 weeks to the new expansion where the meta is gonna change at least a little bit... As for if N'zoth is good, well he's ok I've been trying things like N'zoth Highlander Priest or N'zoth Jade Rogue and they are ok but honestly the more standart or common versions of those decks are better. The only really good/fun use of N'zoth was a Control Priest I tried which only used Tortolians and Obsidian Statues and then some Stonehills to get more Statues (Tortolians are ok as well) and then Eternal Servitude to revive more statues and then cockblock the opponent by reviving like 4 Statues or so, other than that if you have the cards the overall N'zoth archetype is fun to play with and it can be decent enough but I would never recommend crafting him when there are so many insanely pówerful legendaries available that are 200% better, if you have all the other legendaries or dust to throw out of the window then I guess isa fun ok craft.

I need to spend about 3.5k to craft it. also I am going to wait till new meta before I spend any more dust. I already spent a lot crafting a kele-zoo last month (I didn't realize we were so close to new expansion, also I had not played since karazhan, so I needed to craft something I knew a bit about, plus was going to work in the meta) I crafted some cards for token druid this months as well, althogh I only spent 1k getting it together as an alt deck to mess around with.
I only have 6k dust at the moment (a little less actually now) so I'll definitely be saving that, I know it's actually nowhere near enough, but I do have the 50x card pack pre order, so all is not lost (hopefully)

No, it is not.

i suspect n'zoth will be very good in the upcoming meta, given all the spoiled deathrattle synergies. (a last hurrah before it rotates in the spring.)
but wait a few weeks to craft anything.
