Hello! In these desperate times full of pirates, I've decided to have a little fun. I am currently remaking some old decks and trying them out again. I'm starting off with handlock. Ever since Reno Jackson was released, handlock has dwindled in numbers. It was a very fun deck and some newer players never experienced the good old days when every priest dreaded seeing a warlock tap on turn 2. This deck is a wild deck because you gotta have the good old Sludge Belchers and Darkbombs to capture the real feel of handlock. enjoy :)
I saw my warlock quest and thought, "hey, I should give handlock a try". Looks like I'm not the only one. There seem to be a tonne of tools to make this sort of deck stronger. I'm curious as to why you don't feature any heals other than Lord Jaraxxus? Are you finding the taunts to be enough? I'd love to hear some commentary on some of your games.

NA golden heroes: Hunter, and Rogue! Let's try for Paladin next!
Here's my take on it. Definitely needs a bit of early game to keep pace. On the bottom rungs of wild there seem to be a lot of greedy decks. I was running double Mixtress and Sludge and Shadowflame. You definitely have to adjust a bit depending on trends. More aggro, cut the combo. More control, cut the early game. GLHF
ETA: There's a good argument for trying to fit two shadowflames. It's amazing in combination with Ancient Watcher.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I tried to capture the feel of the old handlock as much as possible in this deck, but I suppose trying to make remake it fresh and adapted to the new meta would be a better idea than just trying to make it feel like old handlock. I've only played it in casual so far because I don't want to plummet in ranks but with the new update coming soon I'llbe able to test it in real ranked games without worrying about ranks.

You have to distill the idea of handlock to its core: cheating out big dudes because you have a large hand. Card-for-card, you can't do that anymore, but you can focus on the four key cards of the style: Mountain Giant and Twighlight Drake. The next question is, what tools do I need to be able to play those cards? Mixtress is amazing because she lets you tap for free sometimes. Good ol' Watcher + taunt also helps you a lot. The next thing to ask yourself is if there are any new cool tools that help this archetype out? Faceless shambler helps you cheat out big dudes for 4 mana. Works really well with buffs too. Since its a control style deck, you have to build it planning for what your opponent does. You got this! Your list has some interesting pieces already. The big problem is that it's a big budget deck.

Here are my handlock decks I'm playing in Wild, if anyone interested feel free to try.
With demon version went 43-20 (68%) this season. Yesterday tried Classic version and went 10-2 (83%). (Can provide proof if needed). Reached rank 5 easily. You can pretty much easily reach legend with those decks imo, I don't play much. I think Classic version is more superior in this meta, which comes as a surprise to me actually.

Why no Faceless Shamblers?
