I main handlock. It's a very fun deck, and I much prefer it over the zoolock zerg. The main thing that I don't like about zoo is that if you don't win by turn 10, you've pretty much lost because all of their cards are so much more powerful than yours, and the only way zoo wins at all is rushing them down before they can use their own powerful cards.
Handlock has more favorable matchups in the current meta; zoo is pretty much 50-50 against everything.
Highly incorrect. Also, handlock has more unfavorable match-ups then zoo (hunter, midrange druid running 2 x combo, warrior control, shaman, any paladin deck running equality + aldor peacekeepers shits on giants).. Zoo generally has a good chance to beat all decks. That is what makes it so good. Not to mention theres a reason why LuigEzz finished rank 1 last season playing zoo.
Also, there is a right and wrong way to play zoo, so this is assuming it is actually played to its full potential that it is a better deck than handlock.
Zoo has a lot of good matchups, but not many of them are popular right now (I don't think Zoo is great against Miracle or Druid, for example, but I could be based because I play those decks a lot).
I agree that Handlock gets destroyed by Shaman and Paladin, but I've played like 3 total all season, and I like the matchup against 2x combo druid. What are they going to do against taunts with 8-10 health and my removal?

I think the Handlock Vs Fast Druid is very draw dependent. They have a couple silences to byspass taunts, and a bgh. If the Druid gets off to a fast start and the handlock removal is late, things are dicey for the 'lock.

Handlock vs Combo Druid is 50/50 at best. It greatly depends on how fast their opening is, do they have The Black Knight and Big Game Hunter and when they pull out the combo. Most of the Handlock removal is too slow for a fast Druid and the worst problem is that Twilight Drakes are weak against Keepers.
As for the topic, I would still say that Handlock is the more powerful Warlock deck out of the two... But by a small margin.

For me, handlock is just more fun to play but there is something to be said for a deck that has quick games. Sometimes the handlock matches are just so exhausting and take 4x the time of a zoo game just to lose to control warrior in fatigue. I built a zoo deck but honestly I just love the handlock style better.
Zoo is more efficient for climbing the ranks but if you haven't climbed before I imagine you'd have a lot of trouble "transitioning" to other decks if you didn't learn them at lower ranks. There are a lot decision zoo has to make about about going for face/trading etc but rarely is it a question of what minion to play or what general strategy to take. Overall, handlock probably has a lot higher skill cap meaning that a really good player can pilot it to greater success and zoo kind of "evens" the playing field by creating short games. Like a 6 pooling in starcraft. Even a amateur can 6 pool with relatively few mistakes but as a game drags you would have have literally no chance vs a pro player. The faster the game the less time you have to make "sub optimal" decisions so I would say anyone who thinks they are worse on average than their opponent would be making the strategically correct decision to play zoo. This combined with it being cheap to construct make it a great deck for leveling but probably not as good for learning some of the nuances of playing HS (except how to beat zoo with other decks).
As a handlock player, I do agree there are more "hard counters" to handlock than zoo but they aren't that common in my ranks.
Handlock IMO. I love playing it. I can't seem to get past rank 10 or so with it. You really have to know what the right decisions are if you're playing Handlock.
Since my favorite class is warlock, I used zoo to rank from 20 to 15 and I'm currently using hanlock (at rank 6) to reach legend, because I feel like it's more consistant and just overall better in the current meta. Plus, I have way more fun when I play handlock, never get bored :)

I really want to play handlock, but I rarely buy packs and getting all of that stuff would be really difficult (expecially since I don't have any giants except for a sea giant). Once I get the right cards I'm looking to make either a Miracle Rouge, a Ramp Druid, or both.

I play Zoolock, mainly because I can't afford Handlock since I'm mostly F2P. I would imagine Handlock is better butt I've never tried it.

I like Zoo at the moment, but I do think handlock is better. I just seem to have terrible draws with it. It hates me :(

ZooLock is fun, but HandLock is a stronger deck due to the amount of options at your disposal.
