We have the entire council of the Black Harvest, Nekros Skullcrusher (the one who controlled Alextrasza with the power of the Dragon Soul), Zuluhed the Wacked (former warchief of the Dragonmaw Clan), Ner'Zhul (former teacher of Gul'Dan), Drek'Thar (former shaman who became warlock and then shaman again), Teron'Gor. All have used demonic magic
Even Kael'thas Sunstrider could fit in this category: although he is formerly a mage, he also learned how to control demonic magic
i know someone will say "but them sacrificial pact should work from default on the hero", but they can make Kil'jaeden as the alternate warlock hero.
THAT would be a big power creep. I mean, they wouldn't do a "hero" that deviates so much from the pattern... As awesome as that might be for the players. Imagine, there would be only warlocks in the meta
The new warlock hero will be a female elve, like all new heroes are female elves. This will soon be "Hearthstone Heroes of the elves"..
Seriously, my bets are on Kael'Thas ( I know he is not a real Warlock but close enough). He is another lame elf (which seems to be important) and he is another important character from the lore and from a playable race. I really doubt to see a demon as Warlock hero.. even Lady Vashy (or hower she is called) is more realistic than a demonlord for me.
I think the harder class for Blizzard will be Shaman. To find an really lore-wise important Shaman who isn't an orc is quite difficult. Most of the Shamans are eithe way more insignificant than the current heros or orcs..

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
I feel like Wilfred Fizzlebang may be the only right choice! That would give warlocks an alliance character if they don't want to be an orc. His dopeyness also balances out the darkness... It's really a perfect choice I hope they consider it ( :

Shaman will most likely be a Draenai or Tauren.
EDIT: My bets are on Mura Runetotem for Shaman, would love to see a Tauren hero.
EDIT 2: Why does everyone believe that they will use ANOTHER orc for a new warlock hero?! It has to be Kael'Thas, they aren't going to make it Kil'Jaeden or Archimonde as that would go against the Sacrificial Pact mechanic.

Farseer Nobundo man. Famous enough, he's a male draenei, so all the oposite to Thrall, thus, pretty good candidate.

Cho'Gall confirmed as lock legendary. Question of new hero still remains...
If Death Knights aren't a big relevance in the future, my money would be on Teron Gorfield.

No demons as heroes. That's just too weird, even for me. And I've defended Ragnaros, Lightlord.

Again, Kael'Thas Sunstrider. Perfect persona for a Hearthstone hero, I am calling it.
Ner'Zhul, Teron'Gor and Nekros would work, but all three are orcs, as is Gul'Dan. They aren't going to choose a hero from the same race.
Sorry for not taking time to read the 3 pages so apologize if it's already said but :
I'm highly convinced it will be Ner'Zhul. 101%

Gul'dan, Darkness Incarnate. Kappa
I keep fingers crossed for Varimathras. But I have to agree that Eredars and dreadlords look better as legendaries.
