im looking for a deck that indefinitely hard counters midrange and control shaman, in a 3v3 and 4v4 deck match setting i find that my favored set of decks is particularly weak to shamans, and im having a hard time against them. the anti agro ones shut down my mage, and the control variants have very high win rates vs my handlock and warrior control... any deck suggestions?
would a yolo hunter rush do well vs the anti agro shaman? i feel like its tailored directly to deal with hunters.. and im really not a fan of the midrange hunter
well shamans hero power boosts uth and shaman has no healing, but the new anti aggro shamans are an issue.. does ramp or watcher druid fare well vs shamans? even like a 60/40 would be favorable enough for me to run
i feel like priest counters warrior and rogue, their just really annoying to play against with any class though, anyhow how do you think ramp would fare vs shaman?
I've had the most trouble with mages on ladder lately, it seems that mages are making a comeback. Direct damage to our face is hard to counter, shamans have no heals.
I played Tempo Rogue up to rank 5. I didn't play against Shaman very often, but I'm pretty sure I never lost a game. Savjz's tempo rogue deck works quite well.
Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I remember before UTH buff, tempo rogues have good matchups with shamans as they tend to take control of early to midgame away from shamans. Druids at that time have good match up against everything else except for Shaman which was its worst matchup so running Rogues were good when Shamans were rising in popularity.
In general, I always think that Shaman control is always the one favored in control vs control matchups. They fell off from the top 3 in the current meta because the old model have glaring bad match up against hunter and a little less than 50% win rate againsr zoo which are the prominent ones now. From what I saw in tournaments, people tend to mix an aggro deck to counter shamans. I suggest testing Murlock.
And against Druids, Shamans are most of the time favored as long as the Shaman is able to hold off the hex from the big targets (i.e. Ragnaros, Ysera). The match up gets a little tougher for Shamans if they also run a couple of Ancient of wars. For ramp, missing the turn 2 Wild growth favors shaman since most of the ramp decks have no 3 drops. Therefore totem count builds up.

I have a 80% win rate against shamans with this deck.

Do NOT use druid. Shaman are a counter to most control druids, thanks to their multiple large minion removals
after testing out some stuff it actually seems that tempo rogue beats all variants of shaman, i was pretty surprised lol

Druid. Just bait hex and everything should be fine.
