how is this deck performing in the current meta? or is it too early to tell since the nerf to UTH going to might things? Im only lacking 2 rares so thinking of making them and running this, seems like fun

I think its too early to tell, but probable changes are: bloodlust -> al'akir TBK -> cairne

ah okay. hmm I saw your comment on the UTH nerf thread, why does it buff shaman and priest by "a lot" as opposed to the other classes?

because hunters are the hardest counter to those classes... they do have other counters, but I think hunter is the strongest one
For anyone interested, the list I am currently using for THIS specific meta is: - TBK, - Bloodlust, + Al'Akir, + Acidic Swamp Ooze!
Still winning thousands of games due to double manatide btw, if you wanna play with my playstyle (ultra safe nuba plays) dont you dare NOT running double MTT
I am with somewhere around 70% winrate, but only rank 2 right now. I have not played much ladder lately because TITANFALL IS SUCH A FUCKING AMAZING GAME!!!!
I don't know nuba. I have a much higher winrate playing on a new account with my current shaman deck, and I'm at rank 1 with 2 stars. After 100 games from rank 20 I have an 82 % winrate. My takes out two argent squires, 1 mana tide, 2 defenders, no ooze and puts in: earth ele x1, sejin x1, cairne, ala'kir, TBK, lava burst x1, and doomhammer x1. I usually strangulate my opponent into late game and finally play my earth elemental ONLY when I have a way to deal with it in case they faceless it/mind control etc. I honestly think defender and argent squires are so slow in this meta full of zoo and rogues, while taking away a significant amount of your late game power. More often than not, the defender just sits in my hand as a dead card while zoo runs away with the game. I feel like the heavy taunts and late game in my deck give you a fighting chance to avoid the TKO nature of the cancer that is zoo, while giving you a fighting chance to get back into the game. Also, I find that Cairne and all of my late game just makes this deck so much better vs control warriors/priests/druids. If you recall, I used your deck last season to rank 5 from 25 and it was great. I just can't ignore the progress I've made with this deck. Also, I might change one unbound or ala'kir for Rag. Still testing.
I am yet to lose a close game versus Zoo. Usually if I lose is because I needed a storm or something and did not draw into it(i.e: I have a bad hand, and the zoo has a very good one. but then again: you'll lose all games where you have a bad hand and your oponent has a good one) Edit: my win rate against zoolock is somewhat close to 70% Argus gives so much value to your totems and squire, you cant play squire without argus in this deck imo, because of how well it does. I am having no issues playing this list, I like Earth Ele but I think its too much of a liability than a good card. yeah it would be beast on the zoo match, but how about the other ones? Miracle: it gets sapped, you get overloaded for 3 and youre screwed. Controls (any): BGH/faceless, or worst: BOTH. Controls (again): TBK for best value on earth.
Remember a possible EE is the ONLY target for the oposing BGH, so having 0 targets is better than having 1.
But if your deck is working for you, good job! Mine is working for me so i'll stick to it lol
I use them (the squires, at least) to make it through early-game, win by mid-game, and not have to worry about late-game.
I was running without a Mana Tide earlier (used Gadgetzan instead), but swapped that out for one. Dunno how I'd feel about two. Especially after my game last night against aggro mage where I had 2x Flametongue, Mana Tide, 2x Hex, Earthen Ring, and a Lightning Bolt as my first draws. :P
What do you think of Forked Lightning in this Deck? I have been testing it in an unrelated Shaman deck and it runs well, especially with so much Zoo around, and was wondering what you thought of it as a possibility here. Also I have everything except Al'Akir here, what would you replace him with?
The thing about forked is the same thing about earth elemental, to a certain extent: its a good card versus one specific deck, but horrible/bad/not-so-good versus everything else. Also you have a lot of early game 1 mana removal already (6 cards) so there is no need to add one more. I also would never remove any of the 1-drop removals I currently use from this deck
Al'Akir is good and indeed win games, but I guess you could swap for anything you'd like. I'd personally recommend using a argent commander

If I had Al'Akir I would use him, but I don't and I have 0 dust so I figure I can't get him this season unless I get lucky and pull him. Thanks for the reply: I won't try it in this Deck. (The Forked might work better in my other Deck because I run a Kobold Geomancer in addition to the others and it is a bit slower, so a lot of times I can get 4-5 damage on it which makes it useful in other machups, probably not as good here). I've got an Argent so I will try that, but since I run it in 6 in a good deal of my other decks what do you think of Sunwalker?
Just hit legend AGAIN as shaman, with the newer updated version(and a very high winrate)! There is a huge and well structed article with everything about it, from strategy against all oponents, to deck breakdown and card discussion comming up on the site I write for. Its already been submited, so it should be up by tomorrow(or even later today)!
Against Zoo I keep Squire, Bolt, Lightning Storm & rockbiter and I mulligan everything else, do you agree with that?
This is still the matchup I struggle with the most. This season I played almost exclusively shaman and sometimes I lose even after 2 full boardclears with 2 lightning storms...

Quick question: What do you think of running a 1 of gadgetzan auctioneer and rag in a shaman midrange? Or are they just too slow for the current meta?
rag would give your oponents a target for their BGH, gadgetzan is too slow.

I just can't justify sacrificing so much late game for argent squires/ 1/3 totems. I guess it's just preference like you said.

Sunwalker does not have charge, I dislike it for this particular build. No imediate effect on the board
